Doh!!
stupid half asleep me. their talking about if you took all of the console units ever sold and put their computing power together.
Oh well here is what I wrote to begin with. the article link is still good though.
I find the table on the story to be a bit hard to believe. Come on PS2 haveing 7 times the computation power of the first Xbox. and the PS2 having almost 250 times more computationsl power than the Dreamcast.
I think someone lost track of their decimal place when writing about megas, gigas, and Teras.
I'm not even sure if anything in production can do almost 3 million TFlops remember that would be a 3 with 18 zeros behind it.

I was wondering what FloppyT's were. Now i know never to bother reading a story with TFlop in the heading as it's completley pointless and just another stat to compare M$, Sony and Nintendo with... or am i missing something here? _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
You got to remember the a TFLOP is just raw processing power, It doesn't take into account instructions on the processor, or even memory that is available to the processor. _________________________________________________________
