At GDC 08, Microsoft announced DreamSpark. DreamSpark is a program which gives 2,000.00 worth of software to academic students. A free 12 month subscription is included for the XNA!!! Also Virtual PC is very nice I'm running it on my vista machine now. (welcome back xp lol)

Windows Server 2003
XNA Membership
Virtual PC 2007
Microsoft Expression
The entire Visual library

The files range from 45mb to over a gig. Currently I believe it is just for college students but you may get in follow the instructions on the site to get verified and see if you can. _________________________________________________________

Possibly, if you are not residing in one of the countries listed, not attending an accredited university or not a member of one of the student organizations that we're connected with. But keep checking back, as we're working on adding more ways to verify your student status all the time.
there are other options to verify your status. if its not on the drop down menu then there is a website you can use. _________________________________________________________
