Dear Sir Madam,
I wish to enquire as to the likely hood that me and two fellow Australians can be part of your pay-roll so that you can cash cow us across North American & Europe playing your next installment of Battlefield Bad Company on decent servers.
The small cost in our accomodation and expenses can be offset with the amount of publicity/hype we can generate prior to, during, surrounding this much awaited title.
All three of us have been avid fans of the BF2 Modern Combat for some 3 years now, although none of us have cancer - we sure could fake it if its required to ensure the gaming public watch our finest hour.
In all footage generated you can display the DICE/EA logo strategically behind our heads. Product placement at its best.
We can even read scripts that you want us to deliver to the GQ smooth public about this latest game. Its a sort of a "you do for us...we do for you scenario" and we're quite thrilled with what we have come up with...namely ourselves at your disposal. Heck we'll even do one shopping mall once per week provided we have an armed escort.
I may need to drop a few pounds but until I do just shoot me from the head up...or hire fat promotional models. Im terribly charasmatic - cant speak for the other two but I ensure I will keep them in check and force them to learn their lines.
We just want to play on dedicated servers - its the Zen for most Australians and even if we never achieve anything else in our life well we will always have "THE TOUR" (as I like to call it) which we will carry with us, shining inside, as a beacon of good faith until the day we draw our final breath and partake from this cruel earth with no Oceania servers of note.
In confidence I forward this letter to one Jac Bowen who is in touch with your peeps. I entrust upon arrival of this letter it will be delivered directly to marketing/Public relations department.
If they fail to see the unique opportunity / publicity stunt that THE TOUR would ensure then really you're hiring proceedures to be looked at quite harshly. Oh yes...im talking the chopping block. I say this in extreme confidence that any half decent PR Manager would see the light surrounding this most simplistic of excellent ideas. Anything outside of that well...then...really it begs the question is your Human & Public Relations Managers married, first cousins or indeed married cousins from the south?
This really is a gold mine win/win situation for both DICE/EA and the upcoming title.
For the one off low low cost of our expenses and meal allowance you can have your very own Australian assault crew on the cheap. In fact we dont even need motels etc just hole us up in one of your office/lounge/reception areas with 3 x networked 360's and 3 x copies of your Bad Company hot off the press.
We wont even get in your way, let alone move - just build a makeshift studio around us playing. Simplicity at its best.
I look forward to hearing back from you on this most excellent and bodacious concept of mine.

Count me in on that tour.. I cant wait for the next battlefield.. Not long now guys.. M0nsterb0y will be up for it too no doubts and all the other BF2 clan guys..

Battlefield 2 MC on xbox live is sick.
Incidently I coined the term OG xbox. Now Im not sure if any of you are going to swallow that but I believe I did.
How can I verify...well..it stems around BF2. Why? Well BF2 is one of the rare titles that was on Ps2, original xbox, and 360.
At the time I was on the EA battlefield forums, and as a means of explaining where gamers came from - I coined the term OGxbox'ers...or original xbox BF2'ers were OG's.
OG as we know means Original Gangster and its taken from the 1991 Ice T album of the same name.
I am not saying I made the term OG...I mean everyone here remembers OG Loc from GTA IV so to even attempt that is retarded...but I was the first to call the original xbox the OGxbox.
Ive had people say...you cant claim that - people have been putting OG in front of shit for years. No shit.
I know this girl Mel...she used to hang out with STR (Stand to Reason) an old Melbourne Graff crew from around 1989-1990 Me and my mate called her the OG. Cos she was always there...hanging with these dudes, other dudes, she knew everyone, and was not a bad chick, or you would end up at weird parties years apart and you'd see her, and automatically remembered her...she was the OG...

Im pretty confident that the term was not being used by anyone until I started using it, then it became quite popular, infact there were specific posts on EA forums = whats OGxbox mean? and so on....
People would say...I dunno...I think it means Original xbox....
....well yes...but as stated to be "anal" or more correct, it actually means the first xbox was the OrIGINaL GaNgSteR - not the original but the ORIGINAL GANGSTAR
If you believe the background (which is somethng I have over others...I have a background to my claim as opposed to those that just want to dis....or believe im saying this trying to be hero) then the spread and popularity of it grew out of EA forums, and the many posts I made -
The more likely explanation is it is a collective unconscious, or a conscious unconsciousness. As in multiple independant sources came up with the term around the same time.
Well if thats so then im one of those independant sources. You know how I can prove this....and arm you lads with this useless trivia?
Next time someone says OGxbox means Original xbox.
Correct them - let them know they are kinda correct....
The correct definition is that "the xbox is the ORIGINAL GANGSTER"
- and those that played BF2 on this system were ORIGINAL GANGSTERS...or OG's
and so it became the OGxbox....(true story)

Yea the xbox is Og man for sure. I remember picking up mine at launch. Worth every penny I spent, specially when I chose Halo as my first game for the Og-Box.
