I started downloading at 3:12 GMT something like that and it was done in 20mins (woot!) I just finished playing a match.

I need to get some sleep now (4:30am) so I will update this post when I get home from work.

I started my download 3 hours ago and I am at 10%... This is with a 16Mbit connection... Must be a ton of people downloading!! Will give my 2 sense once its downloaded...

Finished downloading.

Played one match...

Graphics much better.

Definately a different feel then halo2.. YAWN... Hope to play more tomorrow.. Time for bed!

Downloaded last night about an hour, tried to play and I get a message thats says something like "trial period for game over or server not working"? Whats this?

Downloaded from Crackdown, Halo Beta. Any ideas?

Yes, power down your xbox and restart. Mine did the same thing.

It's amazing that how many people are playing, it took me forever to get people during matchmaker..

Hi all,

I took last night to hang out on Xbox Live and play Halo 3 with a buddy of mine from xbox-hq (MonsterBoyLambo)..

Must admit I love all the new features and the maps themselves are nice too.. Got myself quite a few kills and had a ball.. Lambo is a crazy halo 2 player on the xbox 1 and was very impressed himself. (which is good to hear)

If you loved halo 1 or 2 then you will absolutely love what they have done with H3.. I dont know if i was expecting more from the game but im really satisfied with the gameplay already.

The search functions for matchmaking is very slow if you ask me.

love it though.. cant wait for the full game.

This game is awesome! I have gotten to rank 6 in about 10 games, is it me or are the players worse? On Halo 2 I would be constantly bottom.

But seriously go buy Crackdown just for this and then get it when it launches.
