Just kidding, but holy cow those guys are fast! I just sent my 360 to them on the 12th, ups reports they got it yesterday afternoon, then I get this email last night.
"Dear customer. we have recieved your xbox at our service center. it is our priority blah blah blah blah"
Then only 6 hours later I get this one.
"Your xbox video game system has been shipped. You can expect to recieve it in 2-5 days, thank you for your patience."
6 hours not bad considering they told me it would be at repair 5 to 10 business days.
I apreciate thier fast friendly service but hope I dont have to use it again for a long while.

I Had 3 Red Light Error 0110, and My two E-mails from M$ repair center were 6 hours apart also!
Ya I read your post before, I hope they send me a 1 mo card, and as for the sticker...Hmm I wonder if its some new technology so they would know if it had been removed then placed back? maybe an rfid imbeded tag within the sticker that will notify its counter part in the xbox if they are separated more than a couple feet.

Could it be that they just take the HD out of your 360 and put it on a new one? And just think it took them six hours to do that. _________________________________________________________ At ease soldier.

They Could not of done the HDD swap trick cause the Repair center requests HDD and ALL Accessories to be Removed before you ship it in.
They just want the bare console only. Also My case had a few distinguishing scratch marks on it and the case serial #'s matched. ALL Same on the Returned Console! I think they Actually Repaired MY Original 360.
Im sure they are most likely not doing any tinkering to repair, they are probobly familure with the freezing screen + red lights , know what part is screwed up and just do a hot swap. ither the GPU, CPU or Disc drive.. I sure wish they would share what the problem with your console was and what was repaired. I would like to know just out of curiosity.

I also am Very Curious as to what they did to my 360, I'll ring em 2Moro and see if I can pry some info out of them. Doubt I'll get any specific info though, I'll post back whatever response I get.

Well if they didn't switch the HD I'm going to have to go with the Module swapping. We used to do it all the time when I was in the Navy. A specific problem means this or this is wrong. Switch out the possible problem part with known good parts. Now I know thats why they don't want you to send them a modded one. It would require them to troubleshoot. And who would want to do that? _________________________________________________________ At ease soldier.

O.K. This is the Official Response I got when I called and Gave My Reference # and asked Exactly What was done to repair my Console they said "The Internal workings of the console were reconfigured, no furter details are avaliable." That's exactly what they said! Figured that much Huh! _________________________________________________________

Ya realy, Duh. I thought maybe they sprinkeled some fairy dust on it or used some black magic or maybe the system was posessed by a deamon and they got a priest to do an exercism, was not sure which, turns out it was some part in the 360 that was not working, Im glad they cleared that up for us.
If you get anything else repaired they give you a detailed discription of what was fixed, . if i took my car in for repair because it was smoking and loosing power, then they fixed it and I asked what the problem was or what repairs were made, and they said, "well we did some stuff under the hood" That would make me think they are hiding something to cover thier butt or they dont want us to know so we dont fix or replace it ourself rather than having to depend on them.
Ill do some searching on the net, im sure somone out there knows exactly what the deal is. Ill post it if I find it.
