Hi,
I think NME/Xeno mod chips are rubbish compared to firmware flashing for one simple reason:

You cannot get XBox 1 backups to work on these chips.
NOBODY knows how to do it.

How do I create a Backup of an XBox 1 game and make it work on these chips?

Or even better how do I convert an Xtreme XBox 1 backup to NME format?

Can someone prove me wrong, please?

Hi, this is just my opinion, but why would one want to, I just kept my xbox1, and have only fired it up when I go travelling ( for work and dont want to take the 360 on dirt roads) since I got the 360. I still like to xbox1 but no longer use it. But each to their own, its just not a factor in a comparison between hardware/firmware.
I have a NME v1.2 and now that I know how to backup my games, Im very happy with it, and never having a firmware upgrade cannot really comment on them.
Sorry Kid

Personally i agree..
The modchips are just junk.. I have a NME compatible mod installed and its nothing but trouble.

I know that you have to make your backup's a different way etc for the NME modchips and it sucks.. Firmware will always be the way to go as it is so much easier to update and you get more features too.

I also believe that Region Free Movies is coming to the next firmware update.. Smile.. NME wont do that either..

It just depends what your after.. You could easily remove your chip and flash the firmware if you like.. Thats what im thinking myself.

cheers,

hobbs
