hey i've been wondering if you can connect your pc and 360 via ftp and if so what would be the username and password of the 360 and how would i get the ip address of it.

The only thing you're able to do at this point is flashed a modified firmware to your 360 dvd-drive. There currently is no homebrew or dashboards or FTP access to your 360. There is hope, there was a video released showing a linux pengiun and the mac logo on the 360 showing that there will hopefully be alternate operating systems (dashs) for the 360.
