Thats right, no longer do HAVE to have high speed internet. I was messing around with my 360 today at my house in BFN and found out i can hook it up Halo 2 to xbox live. I used an Xbox 360 premium console, xbox 1 system link cable, dial up internet, and halo 2. I first set up an ICS and then after i dialed my connection, i was able to get online with my 360.

i have no doubts you were able to get online with your 360 but i doubt you will be playing well on a 56k modem i doubt it.. lol
You will still be able to download content etc etc but it will be slow..
anyway, thanks foe letting us know..
my max connection is around 48k and i can play, but its terribly laggy. Snipers games are ok, but other than that it sucks majorly. i stick to custom games on this speed, but i have friends with cable so i just go there when they aint working

this wouldnt work on the original xbox at least not to my knowledge. the only reasoning i have to this working is that they didnt completey get the speed detection part working for original xbox games. I have yet to attempt PDZ but i will do that in the next 24 hours and will report back. it accessed from the 360 dashboard so i dont know why not.

One of my Xbox 360s is at a place where I can only get dial up. Can you tell me exactly what you are using and the settings to make this happen?
