Home build (screw brand name pre-builds Very Happy )

AMD Phenom2 955BEx4 OC3.7Ghz stable
8GB (2x4GB) Kingston DDR3 (1066)RAM
Gigabyte 6850HD Windforce 1GB
Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H MOBO
2xWD Blue Caviar 1TB
1 Seagate Barricuda Hybrid 500GB
650w CoolerMaster PowerPro Extreme PSU
Benq IDE DVD-/+r/DL burner (for running Babylon)
LG DVD-RAM (SATA)
Toshiba 32in 1080p TV/Monitor

Runs games like a champ, and with the Hybrid 3DGFX if need be (never have-my 6850 gets a 7.6 on WEI and is a beast) I can run a pseudo crossfire using the onboard dedicated 512MB 4650HD, video encodings a snap too.

Sounds like a nice build man, have you ever gave memory overclocking a go?! Play with the timings, frequency and voltage a little and I bet you could squeeze quite a bit more out of those Kingston chips depending on the models! I've got some Kingston HyperX Predator's rated for 2400MHz, overclocked to 2600MHz at 1.65volts and adjusted timings while overclocked @ 4.5GHz on my processor! Which is pretty good for a Haswell Intel i7. They don't overclock very nice alone, and when you overclock your processor and increase voltage, since the new Haswell processors have built on voltage regulators it makes it even harder to overclock things like RAM, and yet I still got it to 2600MHz.

Not really when you see how much goes on behind the scenes plus it's to last a while.
