If we could have power anywhere we had water, we could run hydoponic grow centres anywhere in the world.

In a desert for example like your man who gave up his life in new york to go live there.

Rain water collectors, which generate electricity could supply irrigation and electricity to anything that needed it.

But as far as I know the lot of us are mad until we get one running or fail to.

You don't even really need the pump, just solar panels and water storage to run water turbines and wind turbines farm, wind turbines are going up everywhere and most people should know underwater turbines are more efficent then above water, run by the gravity of the moon. I was at the coast watching the sea crash into the rocks and I just thought "All that wasted energy".

Cover africa with all our solar panels, build a huge container of water with sea water to run a wave turbine and wind turbines, hook it all up to a huge building with hydroponics for fruit and veg, all you need is fresh clean water to run grow food with, the desert apparently has enough water for 1 man to build water contrainers collect rain water and live happily, with phone, interent and laptop just using solar energy. Ya man in africa built a wind turbine with nothing.

You could grow tropical fruit all year round, 24/7 hours a day locally.

You could use sun heated watertanks piped into the building, and cold stoarge water tanks to control enivironment and humidity.

Africas main produce is rice, how much sun does it require to create rice? How much water? How much energy? How effiecent can you create an environment to generate electricity and store clean water? How much sun can you harvest with enough solar panels in the right place on the earth with the right design?

You could cook in a metal box with a clear lid and termomitor, you could cook all your organic, homegrown food. Grow hemp init, that plant is a weed, it will grow anywhere. It use to be native to america and cover america. The cotton industry would never have started without getting rid of hemp. The seeds are the best source of protein and amino acids the body needs, back in the day in middle east countrys hemp seed went into everything so that you would stay healthy in the desert.

You can make paper, fuel, food, rope and clothes out of hemp that will last better then any denim.

Are other people not aware how much damage the meat and gasoline industry are destroying our world. The funny thing is if the environment becomes too toxic for us to live in, we die out, we go bye bye, then the world goes on again.

Do you realise how many chickens are killed every single day to supply supermarket chains, how much methane is produced from there waste, how much fuel is burnt to cook said chicken, how much gasoline is used to transport the chickens? Build a chicken hutch grow 4 chickens, put them in a controlled environment free eggs.

You can find out anything on the internet if you google it.

You could build all of this probably with facilitys you don't even realise you have, with skills which might seem beneath your talents, as most the people here on this particular sight are knowledge seekers, information lovers, tech heads. Imagine you could run all your electronics for free and have free food at the same time.

And you can share ideas, chat shit, be called out for it, whatever, we have this fantastic tool for sharing information, let's figure out's what is going to be REALLY useful for society in the future and move towards that.

when it comes to your waves as a loss of energy I wish i could remember what i watching on that but somebody made a generator that runs on waves, they placed it on the cost, it was almost like a wave machine but in reverse, instead of using energy to create waves he used waves to create energy it's a great idea. man i wish we were closer, could do great things, you have the vision i have the fabrication skills, which you might to I dont know what you do for a living lol.

Well I've trained to be a music producer, sound engineer and live technician, I want my own studio to work in. My friends are also producers who want somewhere to work.

I've started my own record label, signed local unsigned bands to a preliminary contract of £5k to produce an album for them, if I can get my own studio to work from.

I also have the top soprano from south carolina 2007-2008 already signed to me under same premise.

I have sub labels getting set up underneat me to feed me artists with unsigned music worldwide from different genres.

We have a church with tons of musicians and artists I'm gonna sign up all of them and record that under a gospel label. I'm told theres at least 10 good artists we can record.

I have access to the entire work force I need who are willing to work for experience, run events for experience, learn production/recording/etc on the job best way to gain.

I have a venue and space to renovate in my local area, we gonna build rehearsal space for local bands at £6ph for 12 hours a day, 30 days a month, to generate an income of £10800 with a minimum of 5 spaces for them to practice. Expanding to 10.

We have space to build a practice room for play rights, for my friend to run a karate dojo out of, my other friends to have juggle meets.

We have two stages already there, access to all the equipment we could dream of getting access to, two kitchens, place to build cheap accomodation.

We have access to videocameras/people with video editing skills, people with graphic design, promotion experience willing to work with us.

I have people who can build me computers when we need a media suite to train more producers/graphic designers/conduct buisness from. I have DJs who can teach DJs to perform at our venue, I know musicians I can hire to train more musicians to record, I could teach better then the staff at my current college as a mature student I can see they are really struggling. Hell I could teach guitar.

I want to grow all our own food, supply all our own water, electricity, and cheap accomodation. Train or learn anything we need to do shit, run daily music events, run monthly festivals and have a VIP room with my xbox and big tv in to chill out, watch security cameras and play xbox in.

My mums agreed to run my phone, girlfirends agreed to admin manage the office, my boy who made this happen gonna run his own stage, I'll book a stage so i can have my name at the top of it, got djs who are pro already to work for free, (incase we don't make anymoney).

Gonna have homeless register and weekly check in, where they can get food and have someone call police if they don't check in.

And I'm basically blagging it all with the 3 ULTIMATE secrets to buisness.

Know the value of your skills and sell your product before you've even spent a penny, if you can't do it you probably know someone that can and will probably do it for free if your polite and nice enough to them.

And I'm pulling this all of by just booking bands for an event on September 20th for my 30th birthday. Which already has a fire performance from the LED Circus, photographers and bands, and people wanting to come to it.

I don't even need events management experience I know personally all the promotors and event runners in the area.

I have builders on my books who have experience building houses and studios. Were gonna run a minibuss from the main local station to the venue and back. There's gonna be loads of videos and photos from the night it's gonna be absolutely of the hook.

Book a gig, blag you run a record label, sign up artists to a 5k contract, get a rehearsal space, get sub labels set up, make the heads a and r scouts for you in their genre. for them to practice in, a music producer costs £300 a day to record 1 song. You can record 10 songs in 10 days making an album. As an initial "just recording" cost thats £3000. How much does mixing and mastering cost? How much does professional CD duplication cost? How much does art cost? How much are HD photos these days? My mum and gf have 720p cameras on their smartphones.

Your logic is right... but allow to correct something, most of the 720p we see today (cheap ones like in smartphones or cameras below 300€) are not true HD

I'm not so sure if it would be a very good time to live in really. I will so now that I am not a conspiracy theorist or any thing like that but I do think that if people world wide found free power economy around the world would plummet. power is a main source of income which intern feeds economy's. our governments would try to find a way to charge for it and society would fight it. Not trying to be a downer or anything if i am i apologize, just a likely scenario i would think.

That's exactly why the brands are not releasing hydrogen powered cars... It's just to easy for people to make their fuel...

Keep the ideas coming. As soon as I someday have money in the bank I'm going to work at homesteading and self reliance. I've had ideas along these lines since I was a kid. Time to put my building skills to work
