Thought I'd stick this into my xbox 1 but kind afraid to its the only one I'm finding online thats lockable, think its a good idea?

If your xbox 1 has a modchip fitted or as been TSOPED, it won't matter whether or not you can lock the hdd, it will work fine.. But if your running a softmod than your outta luck.

I still have my eeprom.bin so could I just run that drive through xboxhdm?

Right now I'm running nothing I need a new hdd for it I put my hdd in side of my pc.

Nope but like I said I could just get a ide to sata adapter that how I wrote my 2tb drive on my old machine

if your xbox1 is not modded with a chip go on craigslist and just buy another xbox1 would be cheaper then buying a refurb hd Smile
