X360Key on 360-HQ
http://www.360-hq.com/news-search-x360key.html

So I think I'm going to pick this up but I have a few questions first.
http://www.modchipsdirect.com/x360key-xbox-360-usb-loader.html

-Is there a size restriction limit on external HDDs
-Would I have to format the external, could I partion it
-Would all Updates be fine to run, Eg: Game Updates/Dashboard updates
-Would I need a Flashed Dvd Drive? Eg: TX Unlocked board. So say if my Slim did burn out I could just go out and buy a new Slim and swap it in
-Would I need a special Tool like the type of tool they use to flash DVD Drives. Forgot what it was called.
-How would I load my backup Isos. Would I just throw them in a Folder and keep the .dvd and .iso.

Probably more to come. Thanks.

OK, heres your answers:

- You dont partition it, just format it as NTFS or ext4
- All updates will run fine, even the latest dashboard update and newest XDG3 games.
- No you don't need to flash your drive, all you need is your DVD Key.
- You will have to open your 360 and gain access to your DVD Drive to get the key, you should be able to find tuts on this site.
- You put the ISOS in a folder called Games on the HDD, and the Xk3y does the rest.

Hope that helps.

Thanks DJB. Really wish I knew about this before I got a unlocked board. Really hope I can find my keys.

Should I still stealth patch it through abgx?

Also which bin files do I need to load to the sd card?

- Yes, there is size restriction of 2TB per partition.

- Yes, all games should be passed by abgx360 app to ensure they are safe to play.

If you got an unlocked board, that means you have a Slim xbox, in that case you need to place the "dummy.bin" of your Drive on the SD Card (The Xkey does the rest)

Do you have your dummy.bin or the numeric key?

Perfect mate, that's all you need to install Xk3y.

If I was you, I would sell the unlocked pcb (if you still have the stock one)

I do but I dunno yet I might still want to run a dvd on it, my original pcb board got screwed up because I think they tried the kamikaze method.

I just got tired of iHas drives crapping out on me. Razz

Hopefully I can get at least $50 out of my iPod Touch.

Where did you buy yours from? The link I gave looks pretty legit.

I recommend flashing the DVD Drive to stock.

I also recommend buying the Xk3y from official resellers, where you from?
