Well, its been 7 years now of 24x7 use and my pioneer is starting to show that it will soon dye. Sad sad days. I bought my pioneer about 12 months before the Xbox 360 launch, ready to go. It has served me well.

When i turn it on now (in winter), it need to warm up, all of a sudden and you get black pixelation for atleast 3 minutes before the picture is pefect like normal. sucks. Twisted Evil

oh, well, time to get a nice 3D TV i guess.

What brands do you guys suggest..
I like LG, Sharp, Panasonic (in no particular order)

I would get another pioneer but i dont think they make them anymore.

Here is a picture of my tv from a while ago:

I would get a Samsung tv if it was me. They have always made great DVD drives and computer monitors, and my neighbor has a great Samsung HD tv.

I have seen and heard good and bad with all different types of TV's but this goes with all electronics.

Samsung looks pretty good at the bottom of this page.

Also looks like Pioneer are out of the TV race. It's a shame coz yours has been a wicked tv.

and 127cm is 50" not that it matters

Vizio seems to give a lot of peeps more bang for there buck then any other name brand and have become well popular with a lot of folks too. I have not heard nothing bad about them. But there prices usually are a lot better then anyone elses. I like name brand like samsung pioneer phillips and all that but when it comes down to money im looking at whats the best deal with a good reputation and so far peeps been saying a lot about vizio almost everyone i know has one around by me lol.

I on the other hand could not pass up the deal on my 47" 120hz phillips with 3 year warranty for $570 lol

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Vizio-XVT3D554SV/15410867 this is a 55" 3d led 480hz with all the bells and whistles for $1,888

Thing is though i am not sure they have them over there. I wish retails would actually run a good source to the tvs they show off so that the picture is perfect but most places dont spend the extra money on this and imo causes less sales. (aka wish they had this tv at a walmart that i can check out myself lmao....

My grandpa has a 52 inch Sony that has served him well over the past 2 years. No problems so far and it's full 1080p. His is an LCD I believe but I think Sony is making LED TV's now. I'd look into a Sony as well just in case.
