Unfortunately Microsoft is cheap and worried about console noise and other stupid stuff that really don't matter to most people at all. i tell people right out if they bring me there xbox 360 if its under warranty ill send it off for them and that but if it is not i tell them right out. Either they can pay MS $99 to fix it get a year warranty on top of it, or buy a new one and sell it or i can fix it and it might last 1day to over a year but you will need to get it replace i dont think there is a permanent fix for them a really good method is the the reballing of the gpu and cpu but you need a reballing machine which is about $500+ for a good one. If you do the xclamp correctly the first time you can have the console last year+ as there is still some that i have repaired from 2 years ago still running fine, some consoles work awesome with the fix were others dont. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

Yea I do the same. Once you get the RROD you'll get it again it's just a matter of when. Reballing is the best method. Around here in minnesota they charge about $40.00 they cant charge to much well they can if people are stupid but if they charge more depending on how much more you might be better off paying the $99.99 microsoft and if they cant fix it they send you a new one with a year warranty were reballs usually give 3months. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

Yea well I'm going to experiment doing different things to try to keep this console alive. I should be getting a job at a custom metal fab and plastic shop. They have cnc mills and a rapid prototyping machine for plastic parts.
