There are tons of people who claim they are hardcore when it comes to gaming, but few have ever had the chance to tell us what makes them a hardcore gamer. Here is your chance to tell me just that!
I would say to be a hardcore gamer you have to like games that take a lot of skill to get good at (like COD, gears, etc). Also, to be considered hardcore, you must at least play video games 2 hours or more a night.
Now that's just what I think. _________________________________________________________
How about this for hard core, i got a job for one week just to get my 360 and COD4 and as soon as i had the cash i quit and went home to play it.
I have not had a job on the books since then.

I had an Atari when it first came out, we would play 1 v 1 pack man at 10 cents a game, When I won all the other kids allowance I would usually have to fight him physically to keep it. I was fist fighting and making side cash on pac man when it was new, thats what makes me a hard core gamer.
Then when donkey kong came out at the arcade I was about 7 or so, I figured out how to squeeze around back of the machine, pop off the back cover and access the box that accepts all the quarters, I would gather them up in a bag while another kid kept watch, what did we spend it on? candy? no, Toys? No. We would pass them out to our buddies and put them right back into the machines.

It was back when they was still 500 bucks for an elite and i was counting a second controller and wireless head set.

What makes me a hardcore gamer is first my passion for gaming and my willingness to be late for my best friends wedding because I was almost at the end of GT4. Not sure if that is hardcore or stupid as I was the best man… It is my motivation to drive a stake in the heart of someone that I am destroying online in any sports game…especially boxing…real hardcore right?

well for starters i play allmost every night for at least 5 to 7 hours straight. ive been to 5 odst tournys and won all of them by land slides um. alot of guys can say on here i spent alot of time on cod4 and im pretty good at it. i played nfs shift in one day and beat it on hard. and well i have been playing games since i was 5 years old. on the sega. well im 18 now so ive been playing games for 13 years. yea id say im hardcore lol. _________________________________________________________

I think to be considered truly hardcore, you buy a game, and play it on the hardest difficulty first, dedicate at LEAST 2 hours a day, and don't play games for achievements and let them sit on the shelf without beating them on the hardest difficulty! there are bored-ass children in china who'd kill to play those games

well i class hardcore gamers the guys who you meet from those crazy clans who meet up everyday at a certain time for clan practice.. lol. now they are hardcore..
