No they didnt have 360-hq on the box

I tried ordering them from Amazon but they have a policy where they dont ship electronics outside the US, so I hit up Turtle Beach and asked them to ship to Australia. I mentioned that I write reviews for the site and wanted to review them. They said no.

No big whoop, ended up getting them off eBay for the same price anyways.

I have played with them for nearly an hour now, and there is no going back.

Hobbs, can you add these to the Hardware section so I can do a write up on them.

Cheers

yup, ill add them to the hardware database no probs.
Our hardware reviews area isn't 100% ready yet so just post your review to the news page and we will link to hardware database.. I bet your happy with them..

Yeh no doubt.. They already have our staff emails so they wouldn't even think you were from the site unless you had a official email.. Im sure you can imagine all the kinds of people trying to pretend they are from HQ to get things for free.. This happened on Xbox-HQ many times and is why we have official press emails now..

Eitherway im sure once you reply and link them to your review they will change their tune.. heheh

talk soon mate,

Found cheap turtlebeach x41s brand new and ready to order

EDIT * - it says American express or bank transfer ONLY. Bank transfer fee is $35us..... sigh its only like 16usd cheapear

http://www.provantage.com/voyetra-turtle-beach-systems-tbs-2170~9VOYE038.htm

161USD, $40 postage to australia.

I saw the ebay seller that OP bought from, they were 200USD + 53usd shipping. They posted your review in their item listing.

It says the last time this item was ordered, because its a special order (they have to get stock in) It took 1 and 3 days for the two orders to arrive. So basically your looking at a two week period from pay to receive. pretty damn good for 200usd

and these guys are an actual seller, not second handers on ebay. they have warranty. Gets my money

what you guys think

They do sound good from the description you gave, but to spend more on a set of headphones than i did on the 360!! Suggests the headphones are more technologically advanced than the 360 Laughing

Does anyone know of any good wired ones? I could probably justify spending £60, can you get them that cheap and still be decent?

sure, go to www.turtlebeach.com and look at their products. the X41s are far and away their best product. But the lower models are great value for money.
