I started off when I was 1 playing the NES...super mario and duck hunt. Man, those were the good ol' days. My mom was so proud that I beat Mario...then she tried video taping me doing it, and I wouldn't do it for her, lol. I was such a little brat

excellant topic for a start!

Right my first gaming experience was in a shop one xmas me and my dad were hunting around, and i saw this nes stand with all loads of games in a box it was black and had red buttons to push to select the games, they had some sort of atari and some sort of handheld, i remember the store was bright and well lit, and the games were amazing to me i must of been between 5-8 years old. i think my little bro was with us and we finally picked a nes, with super mario. it was winter time and the sun had set so it was quite dark. we went to my dads set it up and we started playing! cos my parents were divorced me and my bro went home and my mum had got us a nes as well!!!! she got us the entertainment pack with duck hunt and mario 2 pads, and the gun (i still have my original nes and kit!) over a few years built a great game collection spending a lot of time on zelda 2, one of my fave games of all time i will one day complete! i got my first gameboy with mario land and gargolyes quest 2 one birthday.
when the snes came out (this is the best story!) my dad use to give us a £5 a month when we visited him, so me and my bro saved together, we stacked about £80, on our way over to our dads flat he was questioning me and bro saying he could get a commodore 64 with loads of games and various other options me and my brother were only interested in the snes we get to my dads and what has he got us????? a snes with super mario world, f-zero, pit fighter and street fighter 2 turbo!!!! shortly after this is bought super mario all stars, but for some reason didnt get many games for the console?!? my bro got a megadrive for his birthday after this, and for me the 16bit generation was the best ever, when the sega saturn came out i got one for my birthday and was really blown away with it, it was the first console tho i felt dissapointment towards some of the games, and not all were pollished, command and conquer devoured my child hood then and so did nights! we got a n64 one xmas with doom 64, as they were quite pricey!took us a while toget goldeneye which my granma got me i was so happy with that game! and mario kart 64 which is one of the best racing games ever!i got a psone when i was 15 or 16, i was having anger problems and my mum didnt want me to buy my friends psone i ended up punching a wall(:S) but i did get it that day and i had a dodgy tv in my room, i played some psone mainly ff7, street fighter vs xmen, and resident evil 2 (fave resi ever!) a few weeks later my tv caught fire that was scary! my mum had to sell our house so gaming went into boxes for a while, there were all sorts o shizzle going on which wasnt good, but i ditched my psone, and went to carrying my snes around so neones house i went to we cud play street fighter! (obsessive i know!) when the ps2 and dc came out i totally ignored them, tho wanting a dc badly!!! i didnt get my next console for years, until the xbox came out, and i got out of hospital when i was ill i got it about 2005ish for £60 i wasnt too bothered about games then, i was well into my music and filled the hard drive and pain stakingly typed out every track, every album, then a couple of so called friends i was letting stay with me ripped me of, took the springs out of the back of my guitar, and stole my xbox! then i heard about chipping xboxs and hadnt considered this since psone but i was never bothered about pirating games i always wanted the case and instructions (and also to supprt the industry!) then i discovered a wonderful website xbox-hq.com, and i learnt about modding and chipping, and homebrew and emulators i modded my first xbox and didnt really use it for nething, i chipped my bros, i accidently unlocked my xbox black 1 hard drive rendering it useless! so i ran out the next day and got a cystal, my pc had problems around the same time so i got a 160gb ide hard drive, which crashed on my pc, losing loads of data which peed me right of, so i thought if i put the 160 into my xbox it would be safer, which i did, and that xbox served me faithfully up until last year when the hard drive had enough and died. i was very sad. me and my brother called this the return to the dark ages, we had no console! it tool a few months but i scraped together for a 360, and thats how im rolling upto date!

very detailed lol!
