it's the principle of the matter not to buy a new one because they said that he would be getting one.

Just imagine that if this is happening to DBEAL then how many other people out there are suffering from the same problem.

It is really poor of microsoft to be doing this to their customers.

I work in a customer service postion and if you say you are going to do something and dont, you end up getting pissing off your customers and they end up going somewhere else. Is this what MS want?? to piss off their customers and drive them to other consoles.

Very poor customer service MS, very poor.

Well rebel i I did get a new power supply with the unit and it does run alot cooler. So that is a plus, but it is a priciple thing. I think I am going to play this for a few days and see whats happens. But I will stay on the phone with M$, because at the least they owe me a explanation for this.

Bro its up to you but I personally would demand a brand new system for all the trouble you have been through over this repair thing. If the one you are playing now is all good and you are happy with it then keep it. You at the very least deserve some good old 360 playing time. Very Happy But if you are not 100% satisfied with that system then call the CSC and demand a new one like they promised you. I just think this whole thing has been a ridiculious insult not only to you but to all of us out there who own a 360 system. I mean we pay ungodly amount of money on the system and then we pay for xbox live and then the games and when we have a problem with our console? They are like oh well we will keep on sending you non working consoles because we at Microsoft just don't give a crap how the consumer feels. It is amazing to me how blatant they are at not giving a crap about what they are sending back from repair. You would think someone would have gone to Mcallen,Texas by now and said listen you guys are sending systems back from repair still broke. Eithier fix it right the first time or your fired. But Microsoft doesn't even take the time to do that. Amazing how much they abuse us the customer. Sad

yes it is a priciple thing at this point. The new unit does run alot cooler I play for like 5 hours straight and could tell how much coller this unit was compared to my last one. I dont know what is different about it but you can tell it is alot cooler. I will stay on the phone with them until they tell me how CSC pretty much given the ok to lie outright on the phone

Most of the time they do "fix" the console. They just reflow the solder for rrod and send it back. It ends up breaking again in 2 weeks or so and you have to send it back. That is what they call fixing the RROD.
