Hi audio/video enthusiasts.. lol

I have been doing a bunch of video encoding and capturing again lately and have just come across an excellent piece of FREE software titled "Video Pad Video Editor" so i thought i would share.

Video Pad handles all formats, .avi, mpg, mp4, mp2, ac3, aac, whatever you can throw at it.. It does subtitles, annotations and loads of cool stuff. I can't believe it's free and i am just about to donate to upgrade. You can choose to encode your movie with any specifications you choose.

If you are having trouble with video editors or tools then make sure you give this one a go. I normally would use a program called VirtualDub but it doesn't support mp4 and flv video correctly..

All the exclusive gameplay videos you see on our official 360-HQ Youtube channel have been encoded and edited using this software.

im always looking for a better video editor I dont have to pay for, I have tried several but always end up just using Windows media editor because of the ease, but wish I had more options, just got a new one called magic movie edit pro that looks like it has way more options but having a hard time getting the hang of it.

Ill give yours a try as well, see how it goes.

I thought it could be useful to most of our members since we all do a fair bit of encoding and watching. lol. If you take your time you will grow to love it.. At first, i was thinking it was over the top but once you get your head around it you can create anything you want with watermarks, effects and everything..

Great for HD 720p/1080p videos.

anyway, good luck with it, hope it helps.
