I finally found time to upgrade my main machine to WIN7 Ultimate running MCE and I was very surprised and extremely happy to test that DIVX and XVID is now 100% supported via MCE on 360. woot.
It's very nice once you take the time to config you shares. I've been playing some very nice HD DIVX/XVID mp4 or whatever and the 360 just eats it up.. The new ZOOM features will also help you out with all those different sized features..
I was running a few MCE machines previously but i used to always have to transcode on the fly (which is just too much work for most machines). With WIN7 MCE.. you dont need to do jack!

ahhhh configuring....thats probably why i couldnt get my divx running through mce D'OH!!! also i did try and get the internet browser for mce but couldnt instal it, wanted it so i could run a browser on 360! is there any cool software or homebrew even for mce??

Yeh, there are heaps of addons..

Would be nice to get a collection of MCE tutorials for our members to check out.. I had a MCE box setup in the beginning and added a few mods and addons but never got the time recently to do much.
