well Ive been playing online here and there. right now I am waiting for a call back from M$ to futher discuss the matter. I have been playing the 360 alot and it plays pretty good I played for about five hours straight with no problem a couple of days ago. this console is certainly alot cooler than the other one but I am kinda disapponted that I didnt get a new one, but I really dont want to go weeks without one again so I am kinda up in the air right know
I got my other 360 back yesterday and it plays like a dream. They sent me back the same one but it doesnt get near as hot as it did and they replaced the disk drive along with fixing the controller problem. All in all I am pretty happy with the repair process. I still don't get how they could have screwed up so bad with you. And then not fix it with a new 360. They gave hypnotix a new one when he sent in his rrod 360. Brand new with the clear stickers still on the thing! Hopefully you will get things worked out finally but I can understand your hesistancy to send in this 360 and wait for a new one. When it comes right down to it you gotta do what you feel comfortable with. But keep in mind you gave it one hell of a fight! Ya it really sucks when you pay $300+ for a *Brand New* System and then it breaks on u a few weeks later or so and then you go through all this just to get one that they fixed before and send it to u a *Used One* In my mind i think i would be so pissed and not tolerate this is it the same console you sent to them if not and its used then i would be talking to a lawyer about that, thats how mad i would be.
Specially how many times you had to send it back and recieve it and still end up with the same problems you get a lawyer involved and usually things get settled pretty quick and they should send you a upgrade to elite like most companys do with other items example your computer shits on u 3-4 times they send you a upgraded Brand New one.
