ok, does the old whisper fan just run at 5v, just at a better effciency than the microsoft fan? or does it run at 12v? I was just wondering if adding the 12v is the new addition to the new one, or just the switch between the two?
basically does the old whisper fan run at 5v or 12v, and is the new nitro mode going to blow harder than the current whisperfan?

i think the older whisper fans just run smoother and better then stock and with the new turbo one it must up the juice up on it some how after u hit that switch.
