I'm sure you have the device that turns an ethernet cable into a wireless adapter, it will work fine, but he's talking about other USB devices. I love how the 360 wireless adapter has a little pen drive sized device that clips to the back of the system and just stays there, it also has an adjustable antennae to point it in the best direction.

It positively sdoes work. I use a Linksys Game adapter (ethernet) and a D-Link wireless router and they work together perfectly.

So a wired wireless adapter works... but a USB pen type adapter doesn't? or does anyone know for sure? It would be nice to spend $20 and get a USB fob type 802.11g adapter and not drop the $99 for either the game adapter or the MS nifty one. Thanks

The old Official MS Xbox Wifi adapter works, they still are charging the full 100 for it in some places, but you might be able to get it really cheap on ebay or soemthing of that nature.

I was using that for a while, then I got a longer cat5
