You are Dan Carson, a New York construction worker. You’ve watched as war enveloped the globe for over a decade and Europe fell to Nazi rule. Russia is now occupied, as are large areas of Asia. An uneasy alliance between the Germans and Japanese persists.
The Nazis now look to the United States – the last major prize in their pursuit of world domination.
New York is hit first as an overwhelming Nazi army invades. Zeppelins are the battleships, the blimps are the landing craft and the rooftops of downtown Manhattan are the beaches. Armed paratroopers descend on to the streets; the city is taken block by block. War becomes personal."

The new name for Spark Unlimited's alternate-reality shooter is Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Codemasters has revealed. The game's scheduled for a Q4 launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this year.
The game's based in 1952 around an alternate reality where Europe failed to stand up to the Nazi invasion, leaving the Germans free to mount a huge assault on American soil.
We're back in first-person shooter territory, and being promised many traditional elements of the genre from the folk that brought us Call of Duty: Finest Hour.
In 1931 Winston Churchill survived being struck by a taxi while crossing the street in New York. What if Churchill had died and wasn’t alive to voice the battle cry that inspired the Allied troops to confront the Nazi war machine? What if England had surrendered to Hitler? What if there was no D-Day, and Pearl Harbor never happened? What if the United States never entered WWII until WWII came knocking at its front door?
In the midst of this evolved WWII reality, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty opens in 1952 as Nazi forces land a well planned surprise attack on the gateway of the United States eastern coast - New York. Nazi battleships quickly take the harbour, German aircraft pound the city streets with ordinance, and Zeppelins and assault blimps deploy troops to take the city block by block. With New York falling to pieces, and Washington D.C. in enemy sights, will anyone be able to stop the Nazi Blitzkrieg on American soil.
Striking a unique balance between wartime authenticity while also bringing a fresh perspective to the WWII genre through an alternate timeline and advanced weaponry, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty will be a very personal battle for the player. As a civilian in these new battlegrounds, it’s time to fight afresh against the world’s most notorious war machine.
"Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is creating new settings for this stuff, so while you're fighting in New York you've got the statue of liberty as a backdrop, you've got the Chrysler building, the Empire State building; we're expanding on the kind of World War II gameplay people love, but we're taking it to places people haven't seen before. We're taking this setting of New York that people know so well, and using it to create arresting and exciting wartime imagery. It's this freshness that we think is really going to appeal, along with gameplay elements we'll reveal in due course."
