About TimeShift:
Set in the near future, TimeShift from Saber Interactive will take the first-person genre to an entirely different dimension marked by erratic time and unrelenting action. The unprecedented technology behind TimeShift will allow gamers, for the first time, the ability to slow, stop and reverse the flow of time while remaining completely unaffected. Set in an engrossing storyline, gamers must learn to master this new skill while navigating through the new universe and ultimately complete the adventure. Using Saber Interactive’s proprietary Saber3D Engine, the story will progress through virtual environments of cinematic quality, and the game’s sophisticated AI will challenge gamers to think creatively on how to use their new powers.

A new Timeshift trailer has been released to the Xbox 360 Marketplace.
Timeshift is a First Person shooter which allows the player to manipulate time. Set in an engrossing storyline, gamers must learn to master this new skill while navigating through the new universe and ultimately complete the adventure. Using Saber Interactive’s proprietary Saber3D Engine, the "TimeShift" story will progress through virtual environments of cinematic quality, and the game’s sophisticated AI will challenge gamers to think creatively on how to use their new powers.
Vivendi Games’ Sierra Entertainment today announced that it has secured the rights to publish TimeShift™, an original first-person shooter offering unprecedented time-control technology that allows players to stop, slow or reverse time. Developed by Saber Interactive, TimeShift will be released for the Xbox 360™ gaming and entertainment system and PC.
“We are very pleased to have secured the rights to the TimeShift franchise,” commented Cindy Cook, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Vivendi Games. “TimeShift is an excellent addition to our 2006 lineup and one that offers something very different to a lot of other FPS titles on the market today.”
“Saber Interactive’s proprietary Saber3D engine elevates the first-person action genre by melding an epic single-player storyline and mind-blowing multiplayer scenarios with the ability to control time,” said Peter Della Penna, EVP of Worldwide Studios for Vivendi Games. “The ability to alter the game’s ‘time-scape’ results in a fundamentally new gameplay dynamic and intensity.”
