Available to download now, the Year of the Snake add-on pack extends the story of Square Enix and United Front Games’ undercover cop drama, Sleeping Dogs, with a series of all-new, action-packed police missions set immediately after the main game. Year of the Snake features four new Achievements/Trophies and will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC from today, priced at 560MSP, $6.99, €5.49, £4.39.
Year of the Snake sees Wei Shen’s story continue as he rejoins the ranks of the Hong Kong Police Department, only to be caught up in chaos. A vicious doomsday cult is taking root in the back streets of Hong Kong… the Cult of the Snake. Hell-bent on cleansing the city of its evils, they cannot be negotiated with as they pursue a murderous path to their righteous salvation.
Square Enix and United Front Games'Zodiac Tournament add-on for Sleeping Dogs, which invites players to become the dragon and unleash their fists of fury, is now available to download on Xbox LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99, €3.99, £3.19).
Invited to an exclusive combat tournament on a hidden island off the coast of Hong Kong, Wei Shen faces the ultimate test of his mastery of martial arts, taking on the world's greatest warriors in a fight… to the death. Set on the remote Zodiac Island, a crumbling temple complex plays host to a series of ancient arenas, each more complex and deadly than the last. Avoiding deadly fire pits or spike-clad ceilings are merely a distraction when up against a collection of cold-blooded killers from every discipline of close-quarters combat. Wei must utilise his full move set, combined with a few new ones picked up on the way, to defeat all that stand in his way and take-out the island's big boss. Check out the official launch trailer just after the break.

Activision has been recording voiceovers for the next Call of Duty game in Los Angeles, a source tells Siliconera. "Call of Duty 2013" takes place in the Modern Warfare arc and the main character in the game is "a battle hardened veteran in his mid-thirties with a nihilistic point of view."
Here are some of the lines "Ben Burke" (which we’re told is a codename) has to recite in Call of Duty 2013:
"Reminds you of Phuket, doesn’t it? Only this time the dust gives you cancer… OK, park yourself and get ready. When this thing kicks off, put a hole in anything that moves."
"This is Sentinel Zero One, successful crypto change on C2 net break, requesting immediate update of blue force picture and status of artillery, over. I have you broken and unreadable, I say again, requesting updates to friendly positions and status of arty support. Do you read, over?"
"We’ve got KVA on the move! They’re going to strongpoint the main gate, ETA two mikes! We’re providing support for our heavy rollers! Ready up and let’s move!"
"Goliath, this is Sentinel Zero One! We have enemy armor at the gate, hundred meters north of our position! Requesting close-air grid mark three-one-six!"
