Games industry charity SpecialEffect and Solving Kids’ Cancer UK announce a new annual fundraising and awareness event called British Racing Greats, taking place this year on Thursday, 1 June, at Donington Park Circuit. British Racing Greats, working in partnership with Supercar Driver, whose team are renowned for their annual Secret Meet at Donington, is a first of its kind track event, celebrating the greatest racing games ever made.
Racing studios and games companies across the UK are already confirmed to participate, including Sumo Group, Playground Games, Electronic Arts, SEGA, Codemasters, Lucid Games, NaturalMotion, Hutch, Escape Technology, Stainless Games, Criterion, Motorsport Games and many more. Every significant racing franchise developed in the UK over the last 30 years will be celebrated and represented. Each of the pit-lane garages will be adorned with memorabilia, merchandise and real world cars from the greatest games of our generation, including Need for Speed, Forza, SEGA Rally, OutRun, Colin McRae Rally, Sonic Racing, CSR Racing, Rebel Racing, Top Drives, and Formula 1.
Racing game inspired cars will take to the Donington track for parades and demonstrations throughout the day. There will also be time dedicated for guests and sponsors to drive their own cars on track. Passenger laps will be offered from celebrity drivers and manufacturers will also have their latest supercars on display and available to test drive on track. Independent development studio, Donkey Crew, has confirmed that Last Oasisis available to download now on the Xbox Games Store via the Xbox Game Preview program priced at $29.99 or regional equivalent.

Donkey Crew confirmed today that their Nomadic Survival MMO Last Oasis (@OasisNomad) will be launching in Q1 2021 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with full cross-play support with PC.
Having already amassed a large player base and thousands of positive Steam user reviews since its launch into Steam Early Access earlier this year, Donkey Crew look forward to welcoming Xbox players into the growing Last Oasis community in 2021. The critically-acclaimed Sandbox Survival is being fully optimised for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Updates on all platforms will also be synchronised, moving forward, so there’s plenty for Xbox fans to look forward to.
Donkey Crew has also revealed today that Season 2 will begin in Last Oasis this Sunday November 22. All the latest features have been tested rigorously by the Last Oasis community via the game’s Beta Branch on Steam and have been greeted with rave user reviews. The introduction of Season 2 will also involve a full server wipe.
Last Oasis is set on a devolved, post-apocalyptic future Earth. A cataclysmic event has halted the planet's rotation, splitting it into two extreme and deadly environments. Only a narrow region between the burning and freezing halves of the planet can support life. The last human survivors must outrun the scorching Sun to survive in a massive Open World.
In order to keep moving, the remnants of humanity have built nomadic machines, and a walking city called the Flotilla. Techland has released a new gameplay video from Dying Light, the first-person, action survival horror video game with a harrowing day-night cycle set in a vast open world overrun with zombies. The new video showcases the darker side of the game's revolutionary day-and-night-cycle mechanic.
Slow, apathetic, and easily visible, the infected are not much of a threat in daylight. A skilled courier, sure of their parkour skills and smart enough not to engage in combat with too many enemies, can effortlessly avoid larger groups of the infected or escape beyond their reach. But this relatively safe state of affairs is turned upside down as the sun sets!
At night, it is you who is at a disadvantage. Without daylight, the senses of the infected become more acute while their thirst for human flesh skyrockets. They run, jump, and climb, so there is really no place where you are safe anymore. They grow in strength, which means fighting them is not even an option. Those of them who were too afraid of light to come out during the day now swarm the city hunting for you. Still, there is something even worse lurking in the shadows...
