Thunderful and developer Digital Kingdom announced that their highly anticipated dodge'em up, Swordship, will be releasing on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC in December 2022.

Swordship releases on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch & PC in December 2022

Swordship is a nail-biting and intense dodging game where placement and precision are everything. As you speed through a post-apocalyptic flooded Earth pursued by hostile forces, you must duck and weave your way between hordes of enemies and their attacks, misleading them into taking each other out with slick and skilful movement.

Swordship is set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world where the consequences of global warming have forced the vast majority of humanity to take refuge in three gigantic underwater cities. The megacities exchange millions of containers loaded with goods every day while those on the outside scrape what they can together in order to survive. You play as one of the small number of inhabitants prepared to steal those precious containers to deliver vital supplies to those that have been banished to the outside.

Players are given the freedom of choice in selecting from a number of different Swordship variants, each coming with its own unique active power, offering the opportunity to experiment with a variety of approaches to overcome challenging and dangerous levels. Players can further experiment with their play style by choosing between risking it all and banking stolen
containers for massive score boosts or, playing it safe for passive upgrades and extra ships that will fit your own unique style.

Thunderful and Digital Kingdom announced that their anticipated dodge’em up, Swordship, will be winging its way onto Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC this September. Check out the new release window trailer for the thrilling action title offers players a look at Swordship’s innovative dodge-based gameplay hook.

Swordship Brings Unique Dodge‘Em Up Action To Xbox, PlayStation, Switch & PC This September

Swordship asks the question: what would a shoot’em up look like if you removed the shooting? The answer is an intense dodging game where placement is everything. As you speed through a post-apocalyptic flooded Earth pursued by hostile forces, you must weave your way between enemies and their attacks, tricking them into taking each other out with slick and skillful movement.

Swordship is set in a world where the consequences of global warming have forced the vast majority of humanity to take refuge in three gigantic underwater cities. Those who are expelled from the cities barely survive on the burned lands. Meanwhile, the megacities exchange millions of containers loaded with goods every day. You play as one of the small number of inhabitants prepared to steal those precious containers and deliver vital supplies to the banished.

Having an ultra fast boat stripped of bulky and heavy weapons is an asset for a smuggler trying to get their stolen goods from one place to another as quickly as possible, but leaves you vulnerable to attack. That’s why only the most skilled pilots can survive. Using your movement speed, turning the attacks of enemies against them and mastering the different weather conditions offered by procedurally generated levels is the only way to survive.

Mass Effect 2: Cerberus Armor and Eviscerator Shotgun DLC Feb 9

Mass Effect 2: Cerberus Armor and Eviscerator Shotgun DLC Feb 9
Published by: forahobby on Monday, February 08, 2010
Tagged: Gaming, Live Marketplace, Xbox 360, Xbox Live,

Chris Priestly has just announced via the bioware forums that a new armor and weapon DLC pack are being released tomorrow for all Mass Effect 2 fans.

On Tuesday February 09 2010 Mass Effect 2 fans will be able to get the new Cerberus Assault Armor and M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun DLC fof free through the Cerberus network. It should be available for all fans, both on PC and Xbox 360 at 12:00pm Mountain Standard Time.

Cerberus Assault Armor
Cerberus assault armor is designed for shock troops, who are expected to turn the tide of battle against creatures or forces that would decimate normal soldiers. The troops demanded three things in its design: shields, armor thick enough to last against a superior foe, and a rechargeable pack to extend a heavy weapon power cell. The only drawback of the armor is its weight, which the troops carry as a point of pride. They have a saying: "Out of shape going in, in shape coming out."

* Increases heavy weapon ammo capacity by +10%
* Increases shields by +10%
* Increases health by +10%

M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a longer-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. This design also violates several intergalactic weapons treaties, so the M-22a is not distributed to militaries.

You can learn more about the Cerberus Assault Armor in a Arsenal update with screenshots of the armor in action here: https://www.360-hq.com/Mass_Effect_2_Xbox_360_Screenshots-688.html

Microsoft reveals plans for Halo through to 2015 and beyond

Microsoft reveals plans for Halo through to 2015 and beyond
Published by: wes213 on Thursday, October 08, 2009
Tagged: Xbox 360,

Gamerzines.com has dropped there latest issue containing a huge pile of info on Bungis plans and hopes for the future, so if you are a HALO fan check it out or you could even download the full zine from the link at the bottom of this post.

With total sales in excess of 27 million units, the Halo video game franchise is understandably at the forefront of Microsoft's ongoing plan, as confirmed by Frank O'Connor, creative director for 343 Industries, a division of Microsoft that handles all things Halo. Speaking with USA Today, O'Conner was candid in his admission that "we do have a plan that goes out at least six years... Eventually, it will become very apparent that there is a plan for the way the canon all ties together and the way the comic books and the novels all tie together."

And by 'canon' O'Conner's not talking about The Covenant's heavy weaponry, but rather the slew of books, comics, films, videos, action figures, and, er, video games that will make up the Halo entertainment universe in the years to come.

Kicking off next month comes the publication of Halo: Evolutions from Tor Books - a collection of Halo stories from Eric Nylund, Tobias Buckell, Robert McLees and Karen Traviss. Further down the literary line there's a Halo Trilogy planned from Greg Bear with the first instalment set to reach bookshelves next year. O'Conner explains: "It is set in the Forerunner part of the canon, which is literally a prehistoric civilization that spans the galaxy and is responsible for all the mysterious artefacts in the Halo universe".

Also on a literary tip comes the continuation of the Halo series of comics. Marvel Comics' Halo: Helljumper is half way through a five-issue series, while another series, Halo: Blood Line comes out on December 23rd.

2010 will then see Halo come to your TV screens by way of the Halo Waypoint channel on Xbox Live, which will host all sorts of Halo goodness including video, audio, podcasts and screenshots. First up for video comes Halo Legends , a collection of seven shorts from five of Japan's leading anim studios.

More ambitious projects such as the much-touted Halo movie release are still a possibility but are currently on hold. Originally lined up for Peter 'Lord of the Rings' Jackson, O'Conner is now a little circumspect: "We're being very careful to pick the right time and the right partner".

Back to the actual game though, and the next instalment of Halo should see Bungie's Halo: Reach hitting your Xbox 360 this time next year. O'Conner explains that it's "a chronological prequel (to Halo 1), but it is not a prequel in the directions the Star Wars prequels were to the (original) movies. It will cover events in and around the planet Reach." And as for Master Chief... "I think that (his) fate, Cortana's fate and the identity of that giant, dark planet at the ending (on the game's hardest skill level) - that's a spoiler - are probably big mysteries that would be irritating if they were just cliff-hangers."
