    Here is a news story found on Metallica.com recently, revealing to the world the proper setlist for Guitar Hero Metallica. From the looks of it, even the old-school Metallica fans should be happy with the selection. On to the news story:

    "Another piece of the Guitar Hero puzzle . . . the track listing! In case you're just tuning in now, the all 'Tallica Guitar Hero will be hitting the streets on March 29 with some really cool features like different classic venues such as the L.A. Forum, Tushino Airfield, and The Hammersmith Odeon, the ability to play as us or in single instrument mode, and even the Expert+ setting with double bass drum kick pedals.

    So without further ado, here are the songs on the game . . . both from us and from some of the bands we admire and even call friends:

    Metallica Tracks
    All Nightmare Long
    Battery

    If you downloaded the "Death Magnetic" album for Xbox and PS3, those ten songs will play in their entirety in the full game mode. PS2 and Wii versions (coming in the Spring, most likely in early May) will include "Broken Beat & Scarred," "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" since they are not compatible with the Death Magnetic downloadable content.

    EuroGamer.net reports: Activision has told Eurogamer that Guitar Hero: Metallica will be rocking onto European shelves this May.

    The publisher's comments come after a internal schedule was supposedly leaked to French website LiveWii, citing the same date.

    The news is also hot on the heels of US retailer GameStop claiming Guitar Hero: Metallica will be out there on 29th March.

    Metallica follow Aerosmith as the focus of a spin-off Guitar Hero game, and bring with them full drum/guitar/microphone GHWT support plus fancy sounds for the GHTunes recording studio.

    In celebration of the bonkers ability of band co-founder Lars Ulrich, Guitar Hero: Metallica will also sport an Expert Plus drumming difficulty and freestyle drum fill mode. There's lots of Metallica trivia, photos, set lists and videos, too.

    Guitar Hero: Metallica is in development for Xbox 360 and PS3.

    The songs confirmed so far are as follows:

    * Enter Sandman - Metallica
    * For Whom The Bell Tolls - Metallica
    * Fuel - Metallica
    * Hit The Lights - Metallica
    * King Nothing - Metallica
    * Master of Puppets - Metallica
    * No Leaf Clover - Metallica
    * Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
    * Sad But True - Metallica
    * The Unforgiven - Metallica
    * Where I May Roam - Metallica
    * No Excuses - Alice in Chains
    * Turn The Page - Bob Seger
    * Hell Bent For Leather - Judas Priest
    * Demon Cleaner - Kyuss
    * Tuesdays Gone - Lynyrd Skynyrd
    * Blood and Thunder - Mastodon
    * Armed and Ready - Michael Schenker Group
    * Mother of Mercy - Samhain
    * Black River - The Sword
