Thunderful (@ThunderfulGroup) and internal development studio The Station have offered a deeper dive into the upcoming SteamWorld Build (@SteamWorldGames), due to release on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2023, via a new trailer that debuted at the Future Game Show. Fans can dig into the next entry in the SteamWorld series themselves between June 19th and June 26th, where a SteamWorld Build demo will be part of the Steam Next Fest.
SteamWorld Build takes a well known genre and gives it a unique twist, delivering a multi-level city-building experience that tasks you with constructing a thriving town above ground, while mining resources and dealing with monsters below.
As the architect of a SteamWorld mining town, break ground and raise houses for your steambot citizens, keep them fed and provide some rootin'-tootin' entertainment. Venture into the abandoned mine sitting under your town, rumoured to be filled with ancient tech that holds the key to escaping impending doom. Using the natural resources above ground and the abundant ores buried below, expand your town, stimulate new residential tiers to join the quest to dig deeper, unearth untold riches and ultimately help them to hightail it off the planet!
SteamWorld Build has been developed on console and PC simultaneously, ensuring that the game’s design, UX and UI all work just as well with a controller in hand, as they do with mouse and keyboard. The game features a user-friendly interface and mechanics designed to cater to both experienced players and newcomers to the city builder genre, further refined by three difficulty levels to choose from.

SOEDESCO (@SOEDESCO) has announced that DESOLATIUM, a new first person point & click adveture based on Lovecraft mythos from Spanish development studio Superlume, is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In this graphic point-and-click adventure you get to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a friend through the eyes of 4 different characters, each with their own characteristics. A new publishing label called Short N Sweet Games has announced its mission to deliver high-quality indie games that can be enjoyed in short sessions on consoles and PC.
Short N Sweet enters the spotlight announcing four new games, Mirrored Souls, Holy Hunt, UDO, and Food Boy, which will be released on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC during 2023. This varied line-up mixes a wide variety of genres and visual styles, from tributes to classic games to pixel art roguelikes or platformers, but they share the Short N Sweet principles in common: quality over quantity (good games don’t need to overstay their welcome with filler!), simplicity (so players can enjoy a carefree experience even between an AAA title and the next) and affordability (players get a good deal for great games while devs and the publisher get fair compensations).

The 100-second spot lays the game’s otherworldly environments wide open, giving gamers the best view yet of the carefully crafted cosmos underneath the surface of the mimic moon known as Luna that developer Bonsai Collective has put together for story shooter fans of all abilities.
As the trailer is designed to showcase, Luna Abyss is a treat for all of the senses, with the game’s derelict megastructure frequently shrouding the player in overwhelming darkness pierced only by concentrated shards of light that briefly lay open the ruins ahead. Luna is a world full of mystery, with the remains of its long-lost colony scattered across its caverns and its valleys serving as a suitable chamber for the prisoners sent into the depths of the Abyss to work off their sentences.
With only an artificial prison guard named Aylin as your guide, the question of just what happened to Luna’s lost colony looms large. What are the secrets of the once-prosperous city of Greymont? And what are those strange voices that call out to you from the depths?
