The team at DICE is hard at work on the next entry in the Battlefield series. While there is no further Battlefield 4 news at this point – remember, if you don’t see it published here, it’s just rumor and speculation – we did want to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts on the state of the Battlefield franchise.

DICE announced today that "Battlefield 3: End Game", the fifth and final expansion pack for Battlefield 3, will be available to download on March 12 for Xbox 360 and PC Premium players and on March 26 for non-premium players.
Battlefield 3: End Game delivers some of the most high-speed warfare to date across four vast maps. Race through enemy lines using the new dirt bike, bringing speed and agility to the Battlefield, or fight back aerial assaults with new lightweight AA vehicles. Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture The Flag game mode. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports.
Battlefield 3: End Game features four new maps, Sabalan Pipeline (snow), Nebandan Flats (desert), Operation Riverside (forest), Kiasar and two new game modes. The first is Capture The Flag, which makes a return for the first time since Battlefield 1942. It's a classic mode but here it's given a Battlefield twist with vehicles making it fast and exciting. The other new mode is Air Superiority, where you capture areas of sky represented by blimps in dogfights of up to 12 players versus 12. End Game also includes all new dog tags, new assignments and, that's right you guess it, achievements.

Battlefield 3: Aftermath provides a new brand of carnage to urban combat delivering four new maps in a vertical and horizontal setting, depicting a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst Iran's post-earthquake devastation. G4TV even said "DICE continues to play with Battlefield 3's multiplayer action in creative ways with its downloadable content releases. Aftermath is shaping up to be the most unique of the bunch by far."
Enjoy this exclusive 360-HQ video clip recorded while playing the new Aftermath DLC on Xbox LIVE. The level shown in this clip is named "Markaz Monolith", one of my favorites in the new map pack, which has the Little Bird AH-6J Scout Helicopter on it. I'll try and get some scavenger mode gameplay uploaded as well but until then don't forget subscribe, share and like.
