Alan Wake Joins Dead By Daylight across all platforms

Alan Wake Joins Dead By Daylight across all platforms

Starbreeze AB (@StarbreezeAB) and Behaviour Digital (@Behaviour) confirmed that the star of the Alan Wake franchise, Alan Wake (@alanwake), has entered The Fog as the new Survivor in Dead by Daylight. Watch the official launch trailer here! #Behaviour #DeadbyDaylight #AlanWake

Alan Wake Joins Dead By Daylight on January 30th

Players will soon be able to step into the shoes of the troubled writer in this collaboration between Behaviour Interactive and Remedy Entertainment. Anyone who can’t wait until release can try Alan Wake in Dead by Daylight’s time-limited public test-build on Steam now.

In the world of Alan Wake, Alan is a talented writer best known to his fans as the author of the hit Alex Casey series, including Return to Sender and The Sudden Stop. Unfortunately, a vacation to Bright Falls took a grim turn for the worse when he found himself face to face with a supernatural darkness. The plot of his latest novel, a horror story he didn’t remember writing, began coming to life, resulting in him becoming trapped within the Dark Place.

As a prisoner, Alan Wake is fighting tooth and nail to escape. However, his attempt to write his way to freedom led him straight into the thralls of The Entity, trading one Dark Place for another.

“As I searched for a way out, for a little light in the dark, I recalled a script I wrote for Night Springs about a place engulfed in fog. As those memories poured back, the same fog surrounded me. Once again, I find myself in an unfamiliar place—trapped. I need to find a way out. I don’t know why, but I know rewriting that script is key.”

-Alan Wake, Lost Manuscript

And of course, it wouldn’t be Alan Wake without the actors that bring him to life. Dead by Daylight’s Alan Wake Chapter features both the likeness of actor Ilkka Villi, who plays Alan during the franchise’s live-action scenes, as well as Matthew Porretta, who has voiced him throughout the franchise. Players will be able to hear brand-new, original voice lines as Alan Wake faces his latest deadly challenge in The Fog.

An Evolving Horror Roster

From films to video games, Dead by Daylight is home to some of the greatest characters in horror history. With the inclusion of Alan Wake, its diverse roster of Survivors grows larger still, adding a staple character from one of horror gaming’s top franchises. Hot on the heels of the release of the critically acclaimed Alan Wake 2, now is the perfect time to experience a new dark chapter for the beloved character.

The Dead by Daylight Alan Wake Chapter is available across all platforms.

Following a deal with Microsoft, however, episodes like "Alan Wake" and "Quantum Break" appeared exclusively for the Xbox (and PC). With "Control" 2019 but a new multiplatform title to appear. THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: MAN OF MEDAN

THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY: MAN OF MEDAN (30 AUG 2019)

With "Man Of Medan" the starting shot is fired for the new anthology series "The Dark Pictures" by developer Supermassive Games. With "Until Dawn," the British developer studio has already landed a horror hit for the PS4, which played with genre clichés and offered a captivating storyline with many different outputs. "The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan" - the full name of the game - tells the story of a group of people who actually want to undertake a harmless dive trip in the South Pacific from a third-person perspective. But of course everything is different: A storm is coming and soon they find themselves in a sunken ship, which is haunted by ghosts and other supernatural threats.

"Man Of Medan" is an independent game in a larger anthology series and can be played in three different ways:

Solo Story: Classic single player, similar to "Until Dawn"

Movie Night: With up to four friends, the title can be played together on the couch. Each of the maximum 5 players controls another character

Shared Story: Two players can experience the action together in online co-op mode

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan will be released on August 30, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

September 2019

Borderlands 3

BORDERLANDS 3 (SEPTEMBER 13, 2019)

" Borderlands 3 " takes the player back to Pandora, but other planets will be explored in the third part of the shooter shooter. And apropos Loot: Of course, numerous weapons are in the foreground of the game, including even a running rifle on legs. The two main villains in "Borderlands 3" are the Calypso twins, but of course there will be other bosses in the game as well. And with Lilith, the return of a famous character from the first part has already been announced. And yes, of course, the cheeky robot Claptrap is back.

"Borderlands 3" will be released September 13 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING (SEPTEMBER 20, 2019)

"The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening" will soon be released for the Nintendo Switch

One of the best "Zelda" games gets a remake for Nintendo Switch

Soon you will be able to explore the island of Cocolint with Link again and wake up the windfish. The remake of "The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening" will provide cute 3D graphics from the Iso perspective, alternating with 2D sections. Our hero link is shipwrecked on the way back to Hyrule and stranded on the island of Cocolint. When he regains his strength there and then wants to leave the island, the inhabitants inform him that there is only water outside Cocolint. In order to leave the island, Link has to wake the sleeping windfish. And that is easier said than done.

"The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening" will be released on September 20, 2019 for Nintendo Switch.

The Surge 2

THE SURGE 2 (SEPTEMBER 24, 2019)

In the sequel to the action role-playing game, which is reminiscent of the "Dark Souls" series in terms of gameplay, one leaves the CREO factory complex known from Part 1 and struggles through urban and rural environments. There will be no open game world in "The Surge 2", but there should be more incentives to explore the area. And also the combat system should be improved.

"The Surge 2" will be released September 24, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
