Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson has published a new video offering a quick walkthrough of the Friends app on Xbox One, including never-before-seen features.
Your New Friends App on Xbox One
Designed around you and your friends, Xbox One will have plenty of room for all your favorite people in the brand new Friends system on Xbox One. Your Xbox 360 friends will automatically be added to your Friends list. With Xbox One you can have 1,000 friends, connect with people instantly by following them and have infinite followers yourself. You can also see all of your Xbox One and Xbox 360 friends and their activity in your Activity Feed.
Similar to the other social media networks, Xbox One allows you to share the latest in games and entertainment with fellow gamers, friends and family, or even celebrities and gaming personalities by following people. For example, on Xbox One you can search for me by my gamertag and follow me to see what I share publicly, such as my latest game scores and achievements.
On your Xbox One, there are now more ways to connect than simply sending a friend invite. For example, the one-way follow model of Xbox One allows Xbox Live members to connect with the people they care about in an easier way than ever before.
Well as im sure you can see the one man band forahobby is doing his best to make the 360-HQ.Com website the most interactive with as many features as possible and its slowly getting there too.. (thank god).
With the help from only a few admins on 360-hq.Com we are also getting some recognition from xbox 360 game developers because they can see the effort we are putting in to bring our members the most up-to-date and in depth info on their xbox 360 entertainment system and their online gaming experience.

I'd like to particularly give a shoutout to Sjohn and Hellblazer55 for doing more then enough to bring our members the latest content on the 360, xbox or pc.. I too work on adding content daily but also have many hrs of coding to get to.. lol.. So thanks to sjohn and hellblazer so much for keeping things up-to-date.
Ofcourse all the other admins are doing a great job in their own sections but sjohn and hellblazer have really been showing their stuff most recently.. Check out sjohns table tennis preview for instance here
Now we have the new profile area's working id love to see you all adding games to your gameslist, wishlists and now playing lists..
In the end the whole system will work to benefit all of us.
I have plans for so much stuff and still have so many little bugs here and there to fix but am extremely happy with my progress over the last 4 months...
We have 360 games, achievements, screenshots, reviews, cheats and downloads.. Hopefully we will also soon have the option of streaming the latest game previews too..
At 360-Hq we DO NOT support piracy at all. On the other hand we will be sharing and endorsing homebrew like emulators, XBMC etc etc.. Thats why HQ was made..
To enhance your xbox, 360 or pc and get the most from it.. In other words modding..
Soon you will be able to upload your own photo of your xbox360 setup to show off in your profile.. Get emails whenever a tournament starts with a game you own..
Add friends to your XBOXLIVE Friends list from HQ etc etc..

some other great features are:
- When you add a game to your collection you can see exactly how many other members have the game on our site.. This means more fun for online gaming and to meet up..
- When you track a blogger you can see exactly how many other members are tracking them.
- At the moment it roughly very roughly calcultates your total games collection cost, this will hopefully be handy for the wishlists.
Enjoy the new features as everything is nearly 100%.. That means all the new features have to be ported to the good old xbox-hq website so our normal users can enjoy the action too.

Since I'm such a fanboy of the Xbox 360 I decided to write this app. 360 Friends is an Xbox Live friend list notifier. It will tell you who is online/offline, let you view gamercards and notify you when a friend's status changes.
This is the main window. It shows you your friend list and the current status of each friend.
