The Church in the Darkness is a top-down single-player action-adventure game set inside a cult in the 1970's. As Vic, an ex-law enforcement officer, you travel to South America to get into Freedom Town and check on your nephew, Alex. Play how you want - you can avoid detection completely, take on the guards using non-lethal methods, or kill anyone who gets in your way. But you'll have to live with the consequences of those choices.

Infiltrate the compound and investigate the people within. The scenario changes each time you play, and every time you must determine just how dangerous the leaders Rebecca and Isaac, are. Is this a socialist utopia or an oppressive prison?
