After you download it, it is yours to keep.  Normally US $19.99, Assassin’s Creed II will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members staring tomorrow through July 30th. Download it for free and it's yours to keep for good. The "Games with Gold" program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members two (2) free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month. “Defense Grid: The Awakening” and “Assassin’s Creed II” were the first two games announced for free for the month of July. And, “Fable 3” was a special bonus game available in June.
