Much like how MoH had removed the Taliban in its multiplayer, Black Ops has made a few changes to avoid confusion among some of its markets.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will carry a CERO Z rating in Japan, which is the equivalent to the ESRB's adult rating. However, the game will still go through a number of changes that mark the difference between the Japanese version and the US version (other than the language of course) one of these changes will be the removal of Swastikas.

Swastikas (Manji in Japan) are used to symbolize Buddhist temples in maps and levels. Remember these Swastikas are NOT the same as the Nazi Swastikas, however these symbols will still be removed and replaced with the Iron Cross to avoid any confusion.

The change will be not implemented in the subbed home console versions. It will be implemented in the dubbed home console versions as well as the subbed PC version.
