Chilli Flash Chip to Restore Bricked Hitachi-LG Drives

Chilli Flash have just announced a chip that allows users to recover a failed/bricked Hitachi-LG drive from a bad flash attempt.

The chip is currently compatible with drives 32 to 59 and here is a quick breakdown of the chips features:

  • Recovers Hitachi drives from recovery state (bricked).
  • Recovers drive from a bad flash, caused by wrongly flashing. Xtreme, OPA firmwares which leaves drive in a dead state (master checksum fix).
  • Safely patches all checksum routines to avoid future bricking.
  • 12 Wires to solder only.
  • 1 Optional wire for debug mode (For windows detection of drive).

    So for all you people sweating it out after you Bricked your drive this may just prove to be a god send.



    Also available soon is the Chilli Unlock Kit that allows for simple removal of your 360's case.
