Microsoft Game Studios and Rare have just released the much-anticipated co-op pack for Kameo: Elements of Power. Players can now enjoy the two-player cooperative mode found in the action levels of the game by downloading this small (25.94MB) pack.
The download is free of charge and unlocks cooperative gameplay over Xbox Live and System Link. It is worth mentioning that you must have completed the adventures in single player mode before they are available in co-operative mode.
Microsoft will also roll out later today two packs of costumes for Kameo and her inner warriors:
Ive been busy as always with the server upgrades etc etc but in the downtime i started a nice little project for our members to use and get involved with.
Ive spent my relaxation time (lol) creating a XBMC RSS browser from the entire HQ network. Thats right.. So you can browse:
- Xbox-Hq.Com
- 360-Hq.Com
- Pc-Hq.Com
- AIDeluxe.Com
Like that??? Well it has even more.. Im still scripting right now and its nearly complete for release.. wohoo hoo.. muuuhaa
If you have some .mp3 media or any other audio files just dump them into the E:MediaMusic or F:MediaMusic directory (depending what sized hdd you have) and our browser will play randomly when you start using it.
This new script is a MUST HAVE for any hardcore HQ member and will soon be released..
Im currently looking for guys to test and suggest new features.. Im new to python but getting there..

Here are some shots we received of another Xbox 360 Harddrive SATA adapter currently in development by the guys at Team Avalaunch. The small PCB will allow you to connect your Xbox 360 HD on your PC without removing it from its case. You'll notice that for the connection to the Xbox 360 HD and for the PC SATA data-cable they used simple tracks/lines on the PCB. For the power there are 2 options: either a mini-B USB port (like used on PSP or many digital cams for example) so you can power the Xbox 360 HD with a cable from your PC's USB port (data will still go over SATA, this is no SATA-to-USB device) or you can power the HD via a standard 5v pin (like you can find on many electronic devices like the connector to recharge your PSP for example). There will also be adapters for both small and large HD power connectors to get power from the PC PSU.
The public/retail release is expected just after easter. There's no final price yet, but they are working on getting an as low as possible retail price.
The next Halo is coming in March 2007. According to a Microsoft source who asked to remain anonymous and a second source close to the company, IGN today learned that Microsoft will publish the next Halo game (as predicted in January) in March 2007.
When phoned, Microsoft declined to comment. While the holiday season remains the most important set of months to publish a game, the first calendar quarter of the year is proving to be bigger and more prominent in sales. Microsoft intends to innovate, challenge traditions, and to use its own "playbook" (as Microsoft's J Allard has said time and again), and slotting Halo 3 (or Halo Forerunners, or whatever April Fool's gag you choose) in March 2007 is likely to shift consumers' priorities. That anticipation will overlap with the first few months of Sony's and Nintendo's launches, cutting into their building stages, and shifting eyes toward and opening wallets for Xbox 360.
Just a short news story to let you all know that you will not be able to log into any of our HQ network sites tonight after 10pm USA Server Time.. :(.. Its no big deal but i need to take the site offline so we can run a full backup and move to our new server..
Dont worry.. It will all be worth it.. :)
So if you come online and experience some problems you know whats up.
Once all of the HQ sites come back online (which shouldnt be long) they will work just like normal but im guessing it will be super fast.. :) EVen faster then what our current loading times are.
anyway, just passing on the info so you all dont freak out when you visit your favorite website.
