When it comes to Colin McRae: DIRT, you've seen the videos and you've seen the screenshots. Heck, some of you might have even tried the demo. So after all the things are said and done, you found out this racing video game title from Codemasters is an excellent one and you just can't wait for June 15.
While waiting, it might be good to browse through the title's achievement list first so that you well know what to do when you finally get your hands on the game. As you know, these achievements are quite necessary to be able to get the full experience, so to speak, Colin McRae: DIRT has to offer.
All in all, the game will have 49 achievements for a total of 1000 points. Colin McRae: DIRT will also be available on the PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows platforms.
DIRT Achievements
- Driven in excess of 100 miles: Drive a total of 100 miles in career mode. (5 Points)
- Driven in excess of 250 miles: Drive a total of 250 miles in career mode. (10 Points)

According to the game director, Tom Clancy's EndWar will feature a persistent online world campaign. De Plater mentioned that it's quite too early to spill the beans or drop the bomb but he did reveal the following:
I can say that one of our most ambitious features is a massively-multiplayer persistent online world campaign. Every time you log in you will see the shifting front lines of an entire world at war, where everyone is participating in a unified global version of World War III.
Tom Clancy's EndWar takes place in the year 2020 where the whole world has plunged into a global battle for power. The game is an RTS by nature and we're literally giddy about it being fully voice activated.
Combine that with the incredible 3D gameplay; the voice command system; the strong online multiplayer component; the apocalyptic World War III scenario; the ultimate 21st Century war machines; the Unreal 3 powered graphics; and I think we'll offer strategy gamers something they have never experienced before.
A public beta testing for Tom Clancy's EndWar will commence sometime in November.
"Splinter Cell Conviction" begins with Sam living the good life in the Mediterranean. He's retired from work as a spy and has been living in a remote place, hidden after his Double Agent assignment. As is usually the case for people such as Fisher, trouble starts brewing.
Ubisoft hinted to us that trouble with Anna is what draws Sam out of his cocoon. Regardless of the reasons why, Conviction will find Sam compelled to go back to Third Echelon and rejoin its ranks.
"Most, if not all, decisions Sam will make in this game are driven by his own morals". In fact, the very fugitive idea is driven by Sam's morals. He could have stayed hidden somewhere, however his ideas about a "greater good' are stronger than his own safety."
With a new role as fugitive rather than special operative, Sam Fisher will drop his black suit and gadgets in favor of a more civilian appearance. After all, Sam Fisher creeping through the center of Washington D.C. in a black bodysuit carrying a multipurpose gun wouldn't exactly blend in as a fugitive.

I personally remember the original game and i can say that it was awesome and also a valuable trend setter. Prince of Persia was one of my all time favorite platformers, up there with the likes of Super Mario Bros. Anyways, read on to see what Team Xbox had to say on this upcoming release.
When Prince of Persia came out in the late ’80s, it featured a revolutionary animation process called “rotoscoping” to make the character’s movement much more realistic. According to the lore, designer Jordan Mechner filmed his brother doing such things as running, leaping and swinging a sword, then used the frame-by-frame changes to better translate the actions into those of his game’s protagonist.
Now we’re on the verge of the ground-breaking title being launched on Xbox Live Arcade—under the title Prince of Persia Classic—and while the original would be a perfectly good addition to the catalog, Ubisoft decided that the old master could use some fresh brush strokes to bring it up to the present day. Microsoft today announced that the Xbox 360 exclusive “Tenchu Z” has gone gold and will sneak onto store shelves across the nation on June 12. Rated “M” for Mature, “Tenchu Z” is set to challenge gamers to become the ultimate ninja assassin through more than 50 missions set in ancient Japan and will be available for the estimated retail price of $59.99.
K2, the creative minds behind “Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven,” present the latest installment of the renowned “Tenchu” franchise, “Tenchu Z” exclusively for the Xbox 360. The title is the first mission-based ninja stealth action game for the Xbox 360, and allows players to hone their stealth skills while slaying enemies to become the ultimate ninja. Patience and strategy, with use of the stealth kill system, is rewarded over a run-and-gun style of hand-to-hand combat.
“Tenchu Z” will task willing ninjas to assassinate evil doers, track enemies, rescue hostages and destroy targets using the art of stealth. For the first time ever, gamers can create their own ninja hero with the character customization features that include a variety of face types, hair features, outfits, accessories and more. Gamers can play solo at home or take advantage of co-operative play with two to four players through Xbox LIVE or System Link. Players can work cooperatively for a completely different ninja experience and team up with a friend to complete the missions and take out foes. Let a friend subdue a boss from behind as another runs him through with a katana. Special co-op moves are also available, adding variety and depth to the gameplay experience.

On my travels about the WWW today i read an amazing story about a guy named electric0ant who has built the worlds first xbox 360 PC, and decided to install windows XP, but then favoured mac os X. Why did he install OS X????? Because he can. Quite simply put you have to read this story, i have a feeling that ALOT of broken xbox 360's will be bought online in the next few weeks if this story get's enough exposure.
