MVC3 - a few days play Published on 02-21-2011
" So far I am throughly impressed with this game. It reminds me of...well...mvc2. It's one of the first fighting games I've played this gen which I've been able to just enjoy playing it whether losing or winning. Playing through the arcade mode on easy is even fun and I've done this several times now. The online at the moment is a bit slow to get a ranked game and it can take ages to get into a lobby. I've said to a few friends that I believe that SSF4 is "over" balanced and I stand by this statement 100%. What's the point if all the characters have the same overall stats? Thats unrealistic to me. The flow of mvc3 is amazing you never know if your going to win until its all over, with x factor making a major difference to gameplay at the last. MVC3 is easy to pick up and difficult to master. It's a deep and purely fun game, the graphics shame many other games and the roster has such an electic vaiety of characters that game play is massively varied from game to game.
I know a lot of people these days want "realistic" fighting games hence the lack of take up for mvc3 but I say if your only going to buy one fighting game this gen, forget blazblue, forget tekken, forget ssf4, get a FUN game get MVC3! "
