Things change....

" Depending upon your age, have you suddenly flashed back on something from young childhood and it's in crystal clarity? I'm approaching another birthday in July and this one ends in a zero. It's a big zero too. It's one of those zero's that I thought I'd never reach and one that makes me not even trust myself! It's one that when I talk to my 10 year old about things, as they were, he can't imagine. A TV with only 13 channels and 4 of those were blank with static? Nawww. No computers? WTF did you do? Black and white cartoons? Ummmm... no I'm not 100 damn it so knock it off. I've been thinking back.. Beany and Cecil, Kimba, Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlett. Captain Kangaroo, the Bugaloos, HR Puffnstuff. Cartoons only on Saturday mornings from 7AM-11AM then it went to some TV show like Discover '67 or Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Cartoons from 3:30PM to 5PM after school then all adult programming. Have I flashed only on TV? No... but that's on the head today. Batman, in first run, not re-run. Oh... The Green Hornet with the car Black Beauty... what a car, far better than KIT from the 80's. Much more lethal and silent. It didn't try to talk anyone out of anything. Black Beauty joined in! :D
More later I hope. Just didn't know where to put all this dogsh*t down because facebook won't let me ramble and I don't have any other blogs.

 | Beany and Cecil, wow I never heard any one talk about this show. I used to watch this on betamax when I was a teen. I think it was from the 60's but I enjoyed this show in the 80's, he he! Well. I'm old too, you are not alone
