" I just saw a story via ABC News stating how in Connecticut a 14 year old girl met a 21 year old man in Rhode Island. Via an Xbox Live chat. They busted his ***** ass by the way. This is the 3rd encounter like this in the last year. One was a 12 year old boy in Detroit and another was a 14 year old girl in Atlanta. It is one thing when these pedophilles do this over the net but in the gaming world that shit should not fly. I only hope as the older brother to triplet siblings that Microsoft does a better job at checking these people. "

 | I agree. Its the parents or whomever's resonsibility to keep in check what their children are playing. Parents dont understand the dangers to them sometimes, but it is their priority. Sorry but, you cannot tell microsoft to do a better job of checking these people and background because that is violating their terms as well as the player's rights. If you havent noticed, the 360 has even parental control on the settings. So by giving this parental control functions, you cannot blame miscorosft for things theyre trying to avoid already.

 | No i think it should be up to the parents to do a better job on watching there kids and what they play and what they do. If your worried about your kid msging other people like this block him from doing it, if i remember right microsoft has this function on the xbox 360. Or tell them straight out anything out of the ordinary the game system is gone. If he or she wants to add friends have them add only local friends. Also keep your name age sex and everything out of your bio dont list anything like this. It is up to the parents to take more charge in what there kids do and not let them do what they want. Simple fact. It will be like this everywere for anything from computers to phone to whatever has a way of communicating these pervs will find it. U want to stop it then keep a eye on your kids. Tell they get old enough to know from what is wrong and what is right.
