bought a new dvd ms 28 having problems

" hello everyone, I recently bought a new ms 28 drive because of my original drive stopped spining the video game. I accidently threw away my other dvd rom drive which was a ms 25 toshiba samsung drive. I have tried to flash it with my sata card and everything and I know I have done it all right. It plays dvd movies all day but will not play my original copy of my madden video game. I am assuming I needed to keep my old dvd rom drive and switch out the green firmware or whatever but I acciddently tossed it in the garbage and it was lost. Is there any ways to get what info I might need to flash it and get the key codes or whatever info is needed. please help me out **** "

 | have you got a key from the mainboard yourself darth?? I know i haven't.. We should try to find some info on this.. I have tonnes of mainboards here that i can play with! lol

 | If your really tech savy you can get the cpu key off the console, which also contains the drive key if I remember correctly.

I really hope you didnt throw away your old xbox 360 drive mate.. You will need the unique key off the drive so you can flash the key to the new drive. :( I have heard of some sort of brute force attack on the motherboard to get this unique dvd key but i havent done it myself..
Have a read of this topic so you understand what you need to do to get your original games working again.. At this time it's all i can offer sorry..
