Looks like TeamXbox has the scoop on all the Guitar Hero World Tour goodies and info in this news post and it looks like we will be playing Guitar Hero World Tour by the time Halloween rolls around, pre-orders have truly ruined the fun in a games launch by making it quick and easy with a guarantee that you get your copy and i for one long for the days when you had to take a bat to make it out with your life and game.
 Well enough of my ranting here is what TeamXbox is reporting:
TeamXbox.com has just obtained the final box art for the for Guitar Hero World Tour game and complete band game bundle. Additionally, we noticed that Xbox.com, as well as online retailers let slip that the game will be released on October 26, 2008. Activision refused to confirm this will be the game's release date, but considering the many sites stating so we believe this is indeed the launch date of Guitar Hero World Tour in the U.S.
The latest installment from the number one best-selling video game franchise of 2007, Guitar Hero World Tour transforms music gaming by expanding the signature guitar gameplay into a cooperative band experience combining the most advanced wireless instruments with new revolutionary online and offline gameplay modes, including online Band Career and eight-player "Battle of the Bands," which allows two full bands to compete head-to-head online for the first time ever.
