Banjo Threeie News and Viva Pinata 2 ConfirmedPublished by sjohn on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 Tagged: Gaming, Xbox 360, Browsing around the Game Trailers website I noticed an interview with one of the Developers for Rare. They talked first about continuing the series of Viva Pinata with the cartoon, the toys, and of course the video games. They also talked quite a lot about the New Banjo game coming soon. It looks to be a continuation of the story but it won't require that you had played the first two games in order to enjoy it. They also assured us that the main nemesis Grunty (Gruntilda the Witch) will of course be back, what type of Banjo game would it be without her?
Also mentioned was how they were liking producing games for a system known more for it's adult image, where Rare normally seems to create "kiddy games". They said that the older gamers will eventually have children, so it was no problem for them, they just love working on new interesting titles. The Stamper Brother's leaving the company was also mentioned but quickly brushed off as something that isn't really affecting the company, as they have most of the original staff still there.
