EA LAUNCHES PLAYERS INTO A CHILLING UNIVERSE OF SCI-FI HORROR WITH DEAD SPACE.
New Original Intellectual Property from EA Will Send Shivers up Gamers' Spines
Chertsey, UK. – September 24, 2007 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced that the award-winning EA Redwood Shores Studio has been developing an original intellectual property that will introduce a new experience to the sci-fi horror genre. In the brilliant, bold and often-bloody "Dead Space™" gamers will step into a third-person sci-fi survival horror experience that promises to deliver the ultimate in psychological thrills and gruesome action.
Set in the cold blackness of deep space, the atmosphere is soaked with a feeling of tension, dread and sheer terror. In Dead Space, players step into the role of engineer Isaac Clarke – an ordinary man on a seemingly routine mission to fix the communications systems aboard a deep space mining ship. It is not long before Isaac awakes to a living nightmare when he learns that the ship’s crew has been ravaged by a vicious alien infestation. He must fight through the dead silence and darkness of deep space to stay alive.

THQ today announced Saints Row 2, sequel to the multi-million unit selling title that redefined open-world gaming for next-generation consoles, is scheduled to deliver all new, genre-defining features and game play for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system in 2008.
Developed by THQ’s critically acclaimed internal studio Volition, Inc. using their proprietary open-world engine, Saints Row 2 will offer vastly expanded customization options, a totally transformed and expanded city of Stilwater, all new vehicles, sandbox tools and toys as well as both online co-op and competitive multiplayer. The game where a trick IS a treat, “Hardwood Spades” is multiplayer card game that offers customizable backgrounds, card faces, card backs and tables.
360-HQ now boasts the full list of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare achievements for the Xbox 360. There are 37 achievements with a total of 1000 gamerpoints and most look to be in single player campaign mode.
By the looks of it this time Infinity Ward have made all the achievements obtainable in the single player campaign mode.. I think this is great idea and will free up achievement hunters on the multplayer servers constantly.
