Officiale press release reads as follows: “See the Future” of Albion With the Much Anticipated Second Game Add-on for “Fable II”
The future of Albion awaits discovery. In the latest game add-on for “Fable II,” the award-winning role-playing game that has sold more than 2.6 million copies worldwide, players will encounter challenges unlike anything a hero has faced before. Available in May exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, Microsoft and Lionhead Studios keep the “Fable II” adventures going in “See the Future,” an action-packed journey that requires players to lift the curses placed on three mysterious items that have come into the possession of Murgo the Trader.
In “See the Future,” players will be given the chance to heed the call for a hero to restore color and balance to the world, or let Albion fall to the wayside. Those who emerge victorious will receive the ultimate reward: a quest that provides a vision of Albion’s future and what lies ahead for those born into the heroic bloodline. The fantastical new quests in “See the Future” will bring players face-to-face with new characters, creatures, events and legendary artifacts, including:
Murgo: Having first met him during the childhood sequence of “Fable II,” Murgo returns to Bowerstone Market to bring an amazing array of new wares, including potions that can transform canine companions into new breeds.
The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest: Holding a disturbing secret, the small model village inside it was once a real town in Albion. The people who once inhabited it are now ghosts condemned to endless torment until the shadowy threat that cursed them is defeated.
The Cursed Knight Quest: Forever banished to a land beyond the dead, the Cursed Knight awaits a hero who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate.
The Colosseum: The Colosseum puts even the Crucible to shame. Only the greatest heroes have triumphed here. Players’ abilities will be put to the test to prove themselves in combat once and for all, to win the ultimate in prizes.
In addition, “See the Future” offers free unique items* to all, including Welley’s soldier helmet and other clothing, a braided ponytail and other hairstyles, psycho Jester make-up, a new hero expression, the back flip trick for canine companions, and a collectible Murgo the Trader gold statue.
The “Fable II” “See the Future” game add-on will be available for download exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace in May for 560 MS Points for the premium content package. “Fable II” is available exclusively on Xbox 360 and is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB and PEGI 16 +.
When it comes to showing honer to a classic game with style i can think of no better way then to give it its own bundle, so check out the Kotaku report on the newest XBOX 360 bundle to hit the shelfs.
Happy birthday, Grand Theft Auto IV. You're one year old today. Microsoft got you an Xbox 360 Elite "Limited Anniversary Edition" bundle to promote the occasion. But brace for pack-in disappointment...
While the latest Xbox 360 Elite package packs in a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV, it doesn't appear to offer a complimentary copy of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned as we'd hoped. Instead, the birthday bundle packs in two limited edition stickers, one featuring the GTA IV logo, the other featuring the Liberty City Swingers team logo.
Microsoft reps still have not yet responded to requests for clarification on the when, where and how much for the Xbox 360 Elite "Limited Anniversary Edition" bundle, but we'd expect an announcement soon. Given the dual-language nature of the package, this could be limited to our neighbors to the north, but that's just speculation.
My girlfriend has been waiting for this one to hit and i can now give her an ETA on it thank God, when you think about the fact that this will be free and then take in to consideration you can win stuff from it you got to like the idea even more.

First Onlive rolls out to try its hand at the console wars using the angle that you just download a small amount of info and play it off the server and now Zeebo is throwing its hat in the ring by selling to countries that are not the target for other consoles.
Edge-Online reports: June marks the launch across Brazil of Zeebo, a console that aims to tap an enormous new market for videogaming. Designed to navigate the dangerous waters of piracy, pricing and patchy wired internet infrastructure in Brazil, India, Mexico, Russia and China, it’s an attempt to extend videogames outside their traditional, and increasingly saturated, stomping grounds of Europe, the US and Japan.
In anyone’s money, making a console for the billion-strong emerging middle classes of such countries is ambitious. And it’s ambition that can’t be achieved by conventional wisdom. “When it comes to traditional consoles, even if you ignore the cost of importing them, the price of the games is massive,” explains Reinaldo Normand, founder of Zeebo. “That’s the reason piracy is such a big problem in these countries. It’s the only way people can afford to buy games.”
It’s a situation he knows well, having worked as a journalist and organiser of game events in his native Brazil. But it was only when he helped set up the mobile division of Tectoy, a Brazilian company that made its reputation releasing Sega consoles loaded with embedded games, that a solution started to become apparent.
6000 miles away in San Diego, Mike Yuen, director of the gaming group at mobile telecommunications company Qualcomm, was having similar thoughts. With 3D graphics acceleration becoming commonplace in cellphones, he was experimenting using TV-out to connect phones to bigger screens and using generic gamepads to provide a more console-like experience. “Internally, everyone thought it was a great idea but the phone-as-a-console concept wasn’t something Qualcomm itself could take further because we create technology for other people to use, so it remained just an idea,” Yuen explains.
