My Brief Statement
My thoughts would be the multiplayer needs a little more game play then just 1 objective like a attack and defend game you do online but they soon will be adding more then that other then that the Campaign mode is awesome and all the new stuff they have put into this game just a example would that you can pretty much blow up anything in your way, trees, houses and much more. Even in Battlefield: Bad Company no one will be safe, not the guy in the tank nor a sniper in a tower and of course not you. As you go through bobing and weaving across a fiery war path of destruction.
 GamePlay
With Battlefield’s trademark multiplayer action and great campaign action we know this game is going to be awesome. Let’s start out with previous Battlefield games there was not as much destruction you really can do, but now they have redid that from blowing up almost anything on this game. If a tree is in your way take it out, want to make a new door for a building then do it almost everything in this game is destructible. All the nooks and crannies that were safe for other shooters and snipers can be reduced to rubble with a tank or mortar strike. Not every building can be completely destroyed but most can be.
A good start for new players to Battlefield games is the single-player campaign for Bad Company. That’s correct even for regular gamers that are use to Battlefield’s online play, you have to check out the single-player campaign. You play as Private Preston Marlowe, that was just resigned to the 222nd Battalion, B company, which are a bunch of castoffs and misfits that the Army likes to use and send into battle first and for B company there just expendable for the Army. You and 3 other man commanded by Sergeant Redford a veteran to war who volunteered for B Company just so he could retire early and then you have Swee*****er and Haggard. Together with your group of misfits you fight your way into Russian territory and take out a number of well-guarded areas.
After awhile of fighting behind enemy lines and the Army just leaving you stranded makes your squad go awol in search of mercenary gold. Along the way you rescue someone that resembles Saddam Hussein that also looks like he has been on some type of drugs ha, and making a escape in a pimped out gold chopper would be cool right and with a lot of humor and numerous unlockable's scattered through out this campaign make the game quite interesting and worth fighting to get through it.
Marlowe the character you play in Battlefield Bad Company is a jack of all trades and can handle any of the weapons and vehicles and often you will be controlling a mortar strike or laser designator that lay’s waste to entire villages. The laser designator really is meant to be used on heavy armor but its always fun to drop lots of bombs on lone troops just for the fun of it. The only thing that sucks really is a short recharge time but guess they made it that way so you don’t go postal and start a World War III but you will not get tired of laying out mortar strikes on your enemy’s.
Also during the campaign you will notice that your mostly doing the work but, my opinion I like doing most of the work. With your squad-mates that are full of friendly chatter they do kill a few enemies and man turrets and also take cover but like I said you will be doing the bulk of the work. Now if they would have been so nice as to have your friends online jump in for a little co-op but that’s one option that this game lacks in and doesn't have unfortunately.
During the game you will notice that the enemy soldiers are not really the sharpest and lack in taking cover only so you can blow it up. But there are so many enemies and objectives that make this game not feel so easy. Your guy that you play Marlowe comes equipped with a health injector that refills your life bar and can be used over and over again after it recharges. Its quite makes you think when you stab it into your heart, what kind of ways they come up with for true soldiers ha. But it is little different from other games like Call of Duty 4 and Rainbow Six Vegas that’s for sure. It does take effect on realism when your plunging it into your chest every 20-30 seconds during major intense battles, which do come into play once you get further in the campaign’s final few missions.
Multi-Player
When you think your ready and up for some multiplayer challenging and after you got the hang of the weapons and gadgets of the single player campaign hop on the mulitplayer mode and join in on the Gold Rush which is pretty much just a basic attack and defend mode in which the attacking team goes and try’s to blow up crates of gold and if successful another portion of the map opens up and the attackers again push forward. Of course this has been done with other games but none really compare to Bad Company with there massive maps that support up to 24 players with a bunch of vehicles like tanks, jeeps, choppers, boats and also humvees.
Also included is the laser-guided rocket turrets and artillery cannons. In multiplayer mode there is five character classes and each of them has there own special abilities and unlock able extras. For example the specialist can lace enemy vehicles for the demolition experts in which their rocket’s will hone in on the tagged targets and with the sniper class you can utilize the laser designator feature to nullify tanks, and the specialist can drop med kits, repair vehicles and also call in mortar strikes. The only really bad parts would be not enough vehicles and only one game mode for right now which they will come out with another game mode soon. But this game will be just as addicting as Call of Duty 4 or Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Also the sweet thing I forgot to mention is unlocking the laser designator in multiplayer to drop guided bombs and the best part of all this is you get to guide them. One bad part about the multiplayer is the communication with your teammates as you can only communicate with about 3-4 members of the whole team which to me really sucks but that’s the way they wanted to make it for some reason.
Sound
The sounds for this game are just amazing out there from there sniper shots that echoes perfectly through the mountains and indoor firefights are so loud you might be putting in some earplugs. I have not seen many war games out there that have such as good of sound as this game does. With my surround sound system i have it very loud and just so intense with the sound and how realistic the gun fire is.
Graphics
Graphics are pretty good but there is a strange graininess on each texture and even looking up into the sky in the first part of the game you can see how fuzzy it looks, but of course with there destructible environments and firefights and explosions make up for this small bit of graphic issue.
Final Statement
As I end this up I would like to say this game is fun and can be very addictive shooting game that far from perfect but what game really is perfect yet. With its awesome Campaign mode and Muiti-Player action this game is well worth the money. But like I always say rent the game before you buy it just to make sure you like these sort of games, that way your not wasting your money on a game that you wont play as much.
