Hudson was founded in 1973 as a small company with the goal of selling telecommunications devices and art photographs. They first entered the gaming business in 1978 when they began selling PC game-software packages. Hudson has since gone on to the develop the "PC Engine" with NEC, work on most major consoles, and release such hits as "Bloody Roar" and "Bomberman".
