I have to say I'm liking it alot the tanks look cool the dogs are certainly a challenge but not impossible to fend off and the guns and graphic are cool as.
Yes there are some crappy spawn points but there are also some good ones too.
I have spent a few hours on it now and yes I am not the greatest on it but I find it fun and challenging and I think this game may have certainly much more to offer especially with the co-op part and campaign which I am sure I will enjoy.
Still being new to COD:4 and enjoying it alot I believe that COD:WAW has big shoes to fill but from what I have seen it may have a chance to do so. Lets all hope it does or comes damn close.
I'm sure the game will stand on its own with out Call Of Duty 4, they tried to get some space to keep any one from putting COD4 and COD WAW in the same boat by not calling it COD5 but we all knew the two would be compared to each other all along.
I was one of the lucky or unlucky...however you see it to get the beta invitation to play Call of Duty World at War and at first I was kinda enjoying it until I played it for about 3 hours....the dogs were a cool addition and the tank was pretty neat but the graphics were soso and the ability to make out friend from foe was not very good. All in all I rated this a treyarch should burn in hell for trashing Ifinity Wards great work on COD4...also I found the targeting bothering but as me and Wes discussed on the phone that is something that is rectified later on with the addition of better weapons. I really find that the maps arent done very well graphically and there were several glitches that were being abused...also the spawning system will have you spawn right in front of a enemy player 5 times out of 10. Anyhow I think my problem with this game is that once you play a game like COD4 that was obviously well planned and made by gamers I find world at war a step back from what Ifinity Ward created with COD4. This is just my opinion granted but I unlike many others out there found this to be a disappointing game of epic proportions. One of my foster dads I had as a kid used to say to me that you could get a pile of dogpoop and you could paint it and buff it and make it look nice but at the end of the day it was still a smelly pile of dogpoop. I find this saying to be true for Call of Duty World at War. But again that is my opinion and hopefully you guys that have already preordered it will enjoy it greatly. A see your point in most places but keep in mind if Ifinity Ward had a game build lined up we would be playing that but they didn't so we get what we got, which is not at all a bad game but just not a COD4 rehash unless you listen to 50% of the guys who hate it.
I made this poll to find out what it was most gamers hate and have found 50% of the gamers hate the fact its nothing like 4 and the other 50% think its a COD4 ripoff that went wrong so i guess im back to square 1 here.
As for the ones that have and like it i want a group of guys for the multiplayer campaign mode, if you would like to be in the 4 man squad just let me know.

Well i played it i hate that u have to wait tell lvl 18 to unlock hardcore so sad. But I played this game and beat it on veteran and almost broke my tv and controller so many times because of the way they had the computers setup on this game. Your team dont help you for anything and you get about 10 grenades flying at you at a time sometimes lmao.
There is so much they can do but i would of been the first person to get 1k on this game if someone didnt cheat there 1k gs on this as i looked at the mygamercard.net and the person that had it had the 2 secret achievements which were go around 1 perstige and then the other was go around 10 perstiges both equal 0 gs but there was no way in hell that guy got around 10 times in a couple days. But what do u do i guess lmao. Well just wait tell u all start to get into the veteran mode on this game it just piss's you off so much ha.
O and a lot of glitches they still need to work on online like knife i hit so many people with that and they dont die just turn around and shoot me ha. Well we will see if they do any work on it. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

I personally like the game. Like Scar said it does get a bit rediculous at times when you have nowhere to hide from the grenade barrage. It made me feel like I was playing Wet Works on COD 4 with all those damn grenades going off...
It took me awhile to get use to the the weapons too. After using the G3, M16 and Deagle with the Acog (lol) it felt weird with those slow weapons. The good thing though is that a well placed shot will kill them, and it doesn't have to be a head shot depending on the weapon.
The AI is smarter too, They'll surround you and give you very little places to hide so you have to be quick and find whatever cover you can. Plenty of times I was killed by people coming from the bushes behind me while I was firing at people in front of me.
It is different, but once you start, it's kinda hard to stop playing. Especially when you're pissed cuz you just got shanked by someone wearing a coconut as a helmet. _________________________________________________________

what sucks is if you run to far ahead u dont get your checkpoint all the time tell your guys catch up and if they dont you die u have to start over from the last one. God it sucks but this is my 3rd time going around on veteran for a couple of my buds so it should not be to hard for me ha. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
